*LONG POST ALERT* People often see the relationship I have with the girls in my emergency department and ask me if I knew them before I moved to Melbourne? Or how did we get so close, so quickly? The truth is we have been through the trenches together. These girls are my comrades in arms, even before this health crisis. We spend every Christmas & Easter together like family. While you’re sleeping with your loved ones we are making the most of a bad situation on night shift. You can’t even imagine the extent of the things we manage together on a daily basis. To trust that they’ll be there to laugh with me at the end of it, that is how we became so close, so quickly.
#TB to the day I broke my ankle & got myself some new metal work to hold myself together. It’s been a long 4 months but I’m finally back at F45, walking without a limp and so close to running again! 🏃🏽♀️
