Our gorgeous new magazine has finally hit the stands and along with being proud as punch of what’s inside, we’re also gutted to say it will be our last as Bauer Media NZ is closing today. Working with @nadialimcooks over the last few years has been an honour and a privilege and together we have produced so many delicious and inspiring recipes that we hope you will enjoy for years to come. We’ve met some of the country’s most creative food producers, worked with the most talented photographers, recipe creators, stylists and writers, been on some tastetastic gastronomical adventures and met so many of you all at our food and wellness events across the country. For now, you can pick up our April/May issue in supermarkets and enjoy mindful puzzles, Easter recipes and dishes for hunkering down in comfort. Life in New Zealand just got a lot more challenging, with @jacindaardern ’s announcement that we will move to coronavirus alert level 4 from Wednesday, meaning all New Zealanders not in essential services will be asked to stay at home. As we work through this unsettling time together, remember to look after each other. Check in on your neighbours (from a distance ), keep in virtual contact with friends, family and colleagues, don’t panic buy (remember supermarkets will remain open ), and get into nature when you can, whether in your backyard or on a walk down the road (as long as it is at a distance from others and only with those you are in self isolation with ). Stay safe, wash your hands and most importantly, #stayhome 🏠
