VACATION 🌴 (staycation ) 🧖🏾‍♀️ CHEATCODE 🗣⁣ ⁣ ⁣ If bloat, exhaustion, breakouts & constipation are the norm for you on vacation, I’m here to tell you baybeeeee, you ain’t livin right!⁣ ⁣⁣ I’ll admit my diet is not 100% perfect. Even if you think there aren’t any healthy options, I promise there’s a way around it.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ * Make vegetables your main course, treat meat as a side dish. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ * Order a salad as an appetizer! ⁣Try olive oil or vinaigrette as a dressing.⁣ ⁣⁣ * Order meat/fish and/or vegetables with olive oil instead of butter.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ * Swap coffee/espresso for herbal tea with honey post meal to help with digestion. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ These adjustments along with my superfood supplements helped me feel alive, refreshed, satisfied AND nourished while enjoying my time away with my girls.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ What’s your healthy vacay cheat code?

slow roasted salmon — just as good cold leftover as it was fresh out of the oven. • 3 six ounce salmon filets • fennel bulb sliced with some fronds torn apart • 4 carrots cut into pieces • 3 peppers sliced - i used 2 habanera and 1 fresno • lemon sliced • salt, pepper, evoo preheat oven to 250°. toss everything besides salmon in evoo, few pinches of kosher salt, cracked black pepper, in a baking dish (i used an oval @lecreuset one that i love ). place salmon on top with small drizzle of evoo and sprinkles of salt of your choice (i used this beautiful sicilian caper sea salt that i have from my local italian grocery store ). cook for about 50 minutes. salmon will flake very easily with a fork. take salmon out and cover loosely with foil. turn up oven to 450 and cook veggies for 7 more minutes. serve it all with a squeeze of fresh lemon. that’s it! so easy and absolutely delicious. 10/10 recommend. most produce from @norwichmeadowsfarm x @ramseyfarmersmarket and @wholefoods 🥕🌶 #salmon #salmonrecipe #slowroastedsalmon #weeknightmeal #easymeal #healthy #organic #farmtotable #glutenfreerecipes #dairyfreerecipes #dairyfree #glutenfree #foodandwine #foodphotography #foodblogger #feedfeed #foodporn #tasty #recipe #onepanmeal #lowandslow #easydinner #healthydinner #healthyrecipe #homecook #bonappetit #kitchn #food52 #wholefoods

Pizza Party tonight! 🍕🎉 Have you tried Cauliflower crust for your pizza night? Easy to make, grain-free AND so healthy. Either make your own or purchase a pre-made one from your local grocery store ( @caulipower has a GREAT one. ) Top with your favorite toppings and you have yourself a pie!: ) ————————— Recipe from @foodnetwork 1 head cauliflower, stalk removed 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella 1/4 cup grated parmesan 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano 1/2 teaspoon kosher 🧂 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder 2 eggs, light beaten. 🍕Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. 🍕Break the cauliflower into florets and pulse in a food processor until fine. Steam in a steamer basket and drain well. (I like to put it on a towel to get all the moisture out. ) Let cool. 🍕In a bowl, combine the cauliflower with the mozzarella, Parmesan, oregano, salt, garlic powder and eggs. Transfer to the center of the baking sheet and spread into a circle, resembling a pizza crust. Pumpkin Mac & Cheese 30mg THC Came home from a much needed staycation wanting some of that good comfort food, ya know? This took 30 minutes to make from scratch & now I’m full & high. Nothing better 🧀🧀🧀 3 cups cooked pasta 3 tbsp THC butter 1 tbsp flour 1/4 cup pumpkin purée 3/4 cup unsweetened almond milk 1/2 tsp chopped fresh sage 1/2 tsp chopped fresh thyme 1/4 tsp nutmeg 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper 1/2 tsp garlic powder 1/2 tsp salt 1/2 tsp pepper 1 tbsp grated Parmesan 1/2 cup @traderjoes unexpected cheddar (or any shredded cheddar ) 1/2 cup shredded Gouda 1. Cook pasta accordingly 2. Heat your saucepan to medium heat. Melt the butter, add the flour & whisk 3. Add milk to saucepan, continuing to whisk & bring to simmer. Add your fresh herbs & spices 4. Add the pumpkin purée & cheese, whisk until melted 5. Hello Be-YOU-tiful Soul Yes, we're going there because your 💩 is an indicator of your wellness, digestion, liver/gallbladder function, nutrition and hydration. One of the first questions I ask my clients when they come on board and work with me is … “how’s your 💩 poop? some answers I get… 💩 I can't poop without my coffee!⁣ ⁣ Even WITH the coffee I am not promised a normal bowel movement; it could be difficult and pebble like or nada! ⁣ 💩 Or I only poop once a week, and when I do it’s so little or so loose or so hard. ❌I have 0 consistency⁣ ⁣ ⁉️Sound familiar? 💩 Most people flush without looking back to see what their poop looks like 💩 There is so much information about your heath that you are flushing down the toilet. 💩 I guide my clients back to creating a masterpiece before they’re done working with me. 🤷‍♀️ Why? Time to get Back to Basics! In need of another Green Smoothie Cleanse🍃 Yep at the most random time of the year...right before the holidays😩 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ But I’ve been suffering from random headaches for about 6 months now. It scared me so much that I ended up having a brain MRI just to make sure cancer had not snuck back and moved to my brain. Thank God it was all clear🙏🏾 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ So I think I’ve narrowed it down to food and rest. Taco Tuesday glow up 🔥 Tacos are one of my favorite foods and always on the weekly meal rotation. I love Siete’s taco seasoning and tortillas — they’re made with super clean ingredients and taste next level AMAZE. Here’s how I make mine:⁣ ⁣ Ingredients:⁣ 1/2tbsp avocado oil ⁣ 1lb ground turkey (or beef or chicken )⁣ 1/2c sweet onion, diced⁣ 1 packet taco seasoning ⁣ 1/2c water⁣ Tortillas⁣ Toppings of choice (I love diced avocado and shredded iceberg )⁣ ⁣ Directions:⁣ In a skillet over medium heat, heat the avocado oil then add the diced onion. Let cook for about 5 minutes or until softened. Push the onions to the outer edge of the skillet and add the ground turkey. Let the meat sit for a few minutes to brown then begin to break up with a spatula or back of a wooden spoon. Once meat is cooked through, add the seasoning packet and water. Turn heat down to low, stir, and let simmer until sauce thickens (about 5 minutes ).⁣ ⁣ If you want some added texture on your tortillas, heat up the cast iron skillet over medium/high. Quickly heat the tortilla for ~1 minute on each side. For a classic hard shell shape, place the tortilla in a taco holder to cool OR you can drape it upside down over a wooden spoon (swipe to see pic ). Add your favorite toppings and enjoy!

Recipe for Butternut squash soup ————————————- 2 medium Butternut Squash, peeled and cubed 1 Apple, cored and cubed 1 yellow onion, diced 4 carrots, diced 2 cups broth (veggie if going vegan ) 6 cloves garlic, chopped 1/2-3/4 tsp sea salt 1/2-1 tsp black pepper 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper 1/8 tsp cinnamon (optional ) 1/8 tsp nutmeg (optional ) 3/4 can full fat coconut milk ————————————- Place all ingredients MINUS coconut milk into CrocPot adding broth last. GARLIC KNOTS by By @plantifullybased . Ingredients: 1 package pizza dough (16 ounces ) 1/4 cup olive oil 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon dried parsley Method: 1 Preheat oven to 450F. Break off small pieces of the dough as big or small as you like depending on how many garlic knots you want to make. 2 Roll the dough into a log and then tie into a knot. Bake on a parchment lined baking sheet for 12 minutes or until golden brown. In a large bowl mix the olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and parsley. 3 When the knots are done immediately place in the bowl with the oil and toss to coat. Makes 15-20 garlic knots. . when everything bagels are vegan, gluten-free and super 👏🏽 healthy 👏🏽 first try with these gems and i am impressed + v satisfied! they’re not like the average bagel. they’re dense and a lil chewy and you won’t be able to slice them in half, but i’m cool with that because they’re so delicious and PACKED with nutrients. for me, taking a classic and making it healthy and vegan is always so fun ♥️ feel good food >>>> in a bowl, mix: 2 cups almond flour 1/2 cup chickpea flour 1/3 cup flax meal 1/3 cup very creamy almond butter (if yours is hard melt it with a little coconut oil ) 1 tsp baking powder 1/2 tbsp apple cider vinegar 3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil 3/4 cup water 2 tbsp everything but the bagel seasoning and more for topping form into bagels and since the batter is a little sticky, it’s best to wet your hands bake at 350 for 18-20 minutes and cool completely so they set. i made 8!

Harvest grain bowls to start off the week! with a maple mustard vinaigrette that is my recent favorite. so good with this combo too. these bowls are filled with farro, roasted sweet potato, beets, honeycrisp apples, and candied walnuts😍 I love to add some chicken with these too & they are great to prep. just make some of the ingredients ahead of time (roasted sweet p, farro, candied walnuts & dressing ) so it’s easy to assemble when ya want them! full recipe is linked in my bio! don’t forget the candied walnuts🙃 happy monday!

Carrot cake overnight oats 🥕🧁 recipe adapted from the @strongandsxy app. 🥕 Ingredients ~ 1 small carrot, small handful of raisins (dried fruit is better for your teeth when consumed with other food + a 30g portion counts as one of your 5 a day ), 1/2 tsp vanilla extract, oats, Greek yog, vanilla protein powder, orange zest, mixed spice and walnuts. Mix it all together with a splash of milk or/ and water and leave overnight. Top with fresh yog and toasted walnuts in the morning 🍊🥕🥣

PAN ROASTED POTATOES by @elavegan Ingredients: 4 medium (500 g ) potatoes sliced (*see notes ) 2 tbsp oil 1 small onion diced 1/2 to 3/4 tsp sea salt or to taste Black pepper to taste Minced fresh rosemary leaves (optional ) Method: 1.Slice potatoes (you can peel them or leave the peel on ) and dice the onion. Add the potato slices to a bowl with cold water and leave them there for about 10 minutes, then drain. 2.Heat oil over medium heat. Place the potato slices in the pan. Fry at medium heat (without stirring! ) for about 8-10 minutes, depending on the size of the slices. 3.After 8-10 minutes, gently flip the potato slices. As soon as the potatoes are nicely browned, turn the heat to low and cover the pan with a lid. 4.Steam the potatoes for about 15-18 minutes covered. Remove the lid and add the diced onion, salt, black pepper to taste, and rosemary (if using ). Fry for a further few minutes, stirring occasionally or until the potatoes are fork-tender. 5.Garnish with fresh herbs and enjoy! Notes: 1 You can use an iron cast pan or a non-stick frying pan. I recommend waxy potatoes or all-purpose potatoes for this recipe. Do not use starchy potatoes, as they might fall apart in the pan. 2 You can easily make these pan-fried potatoes in an air fryer! Simply add potato slices to a bowl and toss with oil, sprinkle with salt, and pepper. 3 Add to air fryer and cook for 20-25 minutes or until nicely browned at 400 degrees Fahrenheit (ca. 204 °C )! Shake basket halfway through. .
