Rosie Walsh - Hän lupasi soittaa (suom. Sirkka-Liisa Sjöblom ) —— Aikansa otti, mutta tulipa luettua! 😅 Kannen perusteella odotin romantiikantäyteistä uppoutumista kirjan sivuille, mutta tää oli jotenkin kovin raskas lukukokemus. Alku junnas, junnas ja junnas kunnes sivulla 210 tarina nappasi mukaansa, ja lukija koukutettiin jatkamaan onnelliseen loppuun. —— Kannattiko tän kanssa sinnitellä loppuun asti? Enpä tiedä... ⭐️⭐️1/2 #hänlupasisoittaa #rosiewalsh #otavankirjat #luettua #kauheestikirjoja #syksyinenlukuhaaste #kirjagram

I read somewhere that Rosie Walsh was in Argentina while writing this book. It’s a story that keeps you guessing and has lots of twists and turns, the writing even changes as it goes and has a few formats within. That was either smart or plain crazy, hard to tell. Overall a modern vibe and a questionable ending. Feels like it could of gone in so many directions. Not my favorite option but an ending none the less. . . #ghosted #rosiewalsh #bookreviews #candy #golosinas #bookstagram #bookworm #bookstagrammer #bookopinion #review #book #currentlyreading #justfinishedreading #prettybookcover

➰ “Bizi Ayıran Her Şey “ ➰ Aşkla dolu yedi günün ardından adam kaybolur....... ➰ Sürekli Aşk kitapları okuyan biri olarak kitap benden tam not alamadı.. Day 254, Thursday, September 10th: 📖 #boekperweek 37/52: Rosie Walsh - Zeven Perfecte Dagen ( @boekerij ) . 📕 Zeven Perfecte Dagen (The man who didn’t call/Ghosted ) by @therosiewalsh is about the English Sarah, who migrated to the States to run away from her traumatizing past in the UK. Every year she visits the place where it all happened on the date it happened. This year she meets Eddie there. He cheers her up so much, she ends up spending the whole day and eventually the whole week with him. Hence Seven perfect days, the Dutch title. At the end of the week he goes on a planned vacation to Spain and she goes back to her parents, who were taking care of her grandfather in a city an hour drive away. Sarah promises Eddie to be there for him when he comes back from his holiday. But he never shows up. He never replies to her phone calls, voice mails, text messages and eventually also not to her message on his Facebook messenger and timeline. He seems to have vanished and Sarah can’t believe he’s ghosting her. They had such perfect days together. There was such a connection. He wouldn’t do this. Something must have happened to him. Ofcourse nothing happened with him and he is ghosting her, but the reason is one I did not expect! . 📗 It started out slow, because I just couldn’t get past the fact that people could fall that head over heels and be mad serious about each other after knowing each other for seven whole days. But I kept on reading anyway, I started it, so I wanted to finish. I’m glad I did. Despite still not really buying into it, it eventually was a nice read, with quite a few unexpected turns of events. Definitely not a predictable book. A nice light read to read next to a heavy read (Roofstaat ). . #100happydays #100happydays2020 #365happydays #365happydays2020 #bookstagram #ilovereading #readingisfun #bookworm #booklover #ilovebooks #readingaddict #bookaholic #bookcover #cover #metime #reading #book #corona #health #covid19 #day183 #selfisolation #workfromhome #workingfromhome #rosiewalsh #zevenperfectedagen #themanwhodidntcall #ghosted #bookchoice Via: @bookchoice

Started a new book today, #ghosted by Rosie Walsh. So far so good. Review coming soon. It’s Saturday afternoon and the smoke is really bad here in Oregon so it was almost like a perfect rainy day, except for the fires and air quality, but good to stay in and read. Book 62 of 2020⁣ ⁣ “We are not just victims of our lives. We can choose to be happy.”⁣ ⁣ Imagine you (Sarah ) meet a man (Eddie ), spend a week together, and fall deeply in love, talking as if you have known each other for years and spending every moment with one another. So when he leaves for a long-booked holiday and promises to call from the airport, you have no cause to doubt him. But he doesn’t call. Your friends tell you to forget him, but you know they're wrong: something must have happened; there must be a reason for his silence. What do you do when you finally discover you're right? That there is a reason -and that reason is the one thing you didn't share with each other? ⁣ ⁣ I’d be lying if I said this book didn’t make me feel hugely conflicted. It’s lost somewhere between a romance and a mystery and it didn’t really satisfy either of those genres for me. I did enjoy it and I was hooked - but I feel really confused by the book and amongst a plethora of overwhelmingly positive five star reviews, I have uncovered a fair amount that mirror my views entirely. I’m going to go back to my older style of reviewing and split this into the positive aspects of this book and the negative aspects - I just think it is easier to order my confused thoughts in this way.⁣ ⁣ In terms of positives:⁣ This is an incredibly gripping book, the premise is quite fascinating and I was very intrigued to find out what happened and this was pushed along by fast pacing, short chapters and a lot of cliffhangers.⁣ The twist was really clever and unpredictable, this book throws a lot of red herrings in and the way in which things reveal themselves are really impressive.⁣ ⁣ Negatives:⁣ The characterisation felt really off to me. You only really get to know Sarah as Eddie for the most part only exists within the seven day love story. Sarah’s character is well adapted and you get a real essence of her emotions and irrational fears, however all the other characters feel slightly irrelevant, add little to the plot and almost act as caricatures of themselves.⁣ The plot was engaging and gripping, but there was too much of it that was unrealistic and felt coincidental to the point of (1 )

The Man Who Didn’t Call by Rosie Walsh 4/5 When I was reading the synopsis for this book, I thought it was going to be a crime thriller. I read it completely wrong.. yes a man goes missing in a way but it was not at all what I was expecting. Despite really wanting a novel with that premise but not getting it I still really enjoyed the book. Theres quite a large twist (which I won’t reveal ) when you get so far through which helps you to understand everything and instead of just leaving us t the end of this twist the story continues which I really liked. It wasn’t at all anything I saw coming and despite a quite heart wrenching tale that still makes you feel a lot of empathy for the two main characters, it was one I really enjoyed. Not quite a genre I feel can be categorised easily but if you find yourself at a lost cause needing something random to pick up to get you back into the swing of things with your reading, this is worth a go! #books #bookstagram #bookworm #reader #lovetoread #kindle #ereader #bookreview #read #reading #bookaddict #booksofinstagram #goodreads #bookaholic #readersofinstagram #booknerd #bookgeek #booklover #book #bookish #literature #literaturelove #bookaddict #bibliophile #themanwhodidntcall #rosiewalsh

**REVIEW** The man who didn't call by Rosie Walsh I enjoyed this book, it gripped me and had me going back to re-read parts of the story as the shocking details unravelled. The story took my emotions on one hell of a roller coaster and had quite a plot twist, I am usually one to predict storylines easily but this one got me. At first it was a little slow moving and in places it seemed a little far fetched but overall the story kept my attention and the suspense made me want to keep reading. I am also a sucker for a little bit of romance too 🥰 Definitely worth a read. Rating ⭐⭐⭐⭐ (4/5 ) Book Summary Imagine you meet a man, spend six glorious days together, and fall in love. And it’s mutual: you’ve never been so certain of anything. So when he leaves for a long-booked holiday and promises to call from the airport, you have no cause to doubt him. But he doesn’t call. Your friends tell you to forget him, but you know they're wrong: something must have happened; there must be a reason for his silence. What do you do when you finally discover you're right? That there is a reason -- and that reason is the one thing you didn't share with each other? The truth. #themanwhodidntcall #rosiewalsh #bookreview #bookstagram #bookstagrammer #booksofinstagram #booksofig #booksbooksbooks #readers #readersofinstagram #readersofig #fiction #fictionbooks #fictionlover #plottwist #bookrecommendations #books 📚 #bookish #gripping #suspensebooks #suspensenovel #readingforpleasure #readingforfun

Månedens kupp for #arkvenner Kun kr 99,- ut september. #utenetenesteord @therosiewalsh @gyldendal_lesetid @gyldendal_no #ghosted #themanwhodidntcall #månedenskupp #arkbokhandel #asker #holmensenter #rosiewalsh

BOOK REVIEW | The Man Who Didn't Call by Rosie Walsh I picked this up after seeing it on my feed a few times alongside some very good reviews. When I picked it up I wasn't sure whether it was going to be a thriller, a chick lit or something else. It ended up being a mix of all of those. The basis of the story is a love story and I guess what would you do to be with "the one". There is a thriller aspect as well, which I won't ruin but my god was it good and I thought I had it sussed only to find out I most certainly did not. I really enjoyed this book, and it did take me maybe 50 odd pages to get into it, but the remaining pages I flew through, wanting to find out what had happened to Eddie and how it would end with Sarah. This gets ⭐⭐⭐⭐ from me and I really want others to read this, because it really is great! #bookreview #themanwhodidntcall #rosiewalsh #secondhandbooks #charityshopbooks

⠀ ⠀ ♥️E vocês tem livros reflexivos pra me indicar?

☺️. {{ 13° livro lido em 2020 }} ☺️ - ⭐⭐⭐⭐ - ❣️"— Sarah, acho que me apaixonei por você. Isso é ir longe demais? Suspirei. — Não. É perfeito. Ambos sorrimos.

✉️QOTD: Paperback, hardback, e-book or audiobook? ⁣ ✉️AOTD: - I like paperback the best - e-books for ARCS or books that only have hardback - audiobook for non-fiction or bibliographies ⁣ ✉️Favourite Quote: ‘Seven perfect days...then he disappeared’ - Rosie Walsh ⁣ ✉️ Themes: Romance, Mystery, Divorce, Fertility, Burden, Secrets, Guilt, Shame, Mental Health, Family Demands, Carers, Self-Forgiveness, Confusion, Ghosting ⁣ ✉️Plot: Sarah is back home in England to visit her Parents, when she meets Eddie. They spend 7 perfect days and then he mysteriously disappears. She tries contacting him but seems as though he’s fell off the face of the earth. Where could he be? Was there love real? ⁣ ✉️My opinion: I was attracted to this book because of the title, even though it had a simple cover, its words drew me in. In USA, this book is actually called ‘GHOSTED’. ⁣ I was expecting some sort of mystery which I believed I had solved early on in the book. I was soooo wrong! After the first plot twist, the author had me clinging and on edge, then another plot twist appears! This book covers many topics beautifully (light enough to get you talking but not cause too much stress ). ☀️CHECK OUT MY ETSY SHOP, link in bio, for the bookmarks! 72 large prints now!☀️ ⁣ #themanwhodidntcall #rosiewalsh #bookstagram #bookmarkcollection #bookmark #readwithabibookmarks #contemporary #romance #mystery

Hey Book Lovers : ) Happy Sunday! And Happy Bank Holiday if you are having one! The weather is so nice this weekend it's perfect reading outside time. I've really been trying over the last few months to do things for myself and that I WANT to do rather than what I feel I SHOULD be doing and it's hard! Part of that for me is dedicating myself to reading and getting involved in the bookish communities of insta! I am loving all the interactions I've had so far so thanks to everyone 💛 and as a bonus I'm also starting to get books early so I can review them which is amazing! This photo is of some of the books I've received so far (thanks @readersfirst ) It's a dream come true for me so thank you to everyone that is making it possible and having faith in me! So here's a message to everyone to remember to do things for yourself once in a while to help you not get bogged down in life, there's so much more to it 💛 #bookstagram #bookphoto #bibliophile #selflove #shelflove #readers #booknerd #reading #booksofinstagram #readersofinstagram #thewildreaders #reviews #feedmefiction #reviewer #bookpile #books #rosiewalsh #themanwhodidntcall #thepossession #chaseyourdreams #thepossession #hudsonskill #oneyearlater #booklove

I worked my way through @therosiewalsh ’s The Man Who Didn’t Call in a day. And boy was I freaking out (just ask @bookswithmolly 😂 ). I know a LOT of you have read it already so bear with! • It started off slow, and I’ll be honest I hated Eddie for not calling. But the story develops into something so wonderful, and something you never would have expected! I’ll be honest, for a lot of the book you’re definitely Team Sarah, because let’s be honest girls, we’ve all been ghosted 🙄🙄🙄. But maybe this isn’t just another dating story. • I laughed and I cried and it really does not go where you think it’s going.. AT ALL. If you’re among the few #bookstagram folk who haven’t who haven’t read it, bump it up your tbr, it’s so worth it. Definitely the OMG love story of the year. . . . . . . #nbg #nobooksgiven #themanwhodidntcall #rosiewalsh #panmacmillan #kindlereads #holidayread #bookstagram #ukbookstagram #fiction #bookish #bookflatlay #bookcommunity #bookclub #bookblogging #bookobsessed #reading
