Good Morning Dumbbells!! (the weights not you lot 😬 ) Up and at ‘em bright and early this morning so that I can get my workout done before the heat hits 🥵 and before my 2 year old adds extra ‘resistance’ by climbing all over me. I like her to see me exercise but sometimes it’s definitely better to just get it done before she wakes up. There are really simple steps to take if you want to learn HOW to recognise your fitness levels TODAY, and we want to share them with you. 1 ) Take your resting heart rate in the mornings for 7 days (including the weekends ) and see if, or how much they change over the week. 2 ) Purposely slow down your intensity during some workouts. If they "feel" like they are equally as hard if you were to go at high intensity, then you're probably tired and need more rest. 3 ) Any niggles or annoying physical issues? Recognise that this is a sign you've pushed too hard doing the WRONG things. But guess what, rest won't be enough to deal with it though, you now got to work on your shit to get over it. 4 ) find a sleep monitoring app for quality and record over 7 days (including weekends ). We recommend Sleep Cycle as it tells you percentage quality of sleep.

🥞РЕЦЕПТ ПРОТЕИНОВЫХ ПАНКЕЙКОВ🥞 ⠀ - 40-50 грамм муки (я брала русовую и кокосовую ) - 20 грамм протеина (у меня веганский миндальный ) - 1 яйцо - 100 мл молока - 1 ч.л подсластителя - 1 ч.л масла - Щепотка соли - Разрыхлитель ⠀ Просто все перемешиваем в отдельной миске (если тесто будет слишком гусным, разбавляем водой/молоком ) и жарем на среднем огне 🔥. Я выливала сначала одну столовую ложку, немного ждала, пока тесто схватится, и добавляла ещё немного, чтобы панкейки получились пышными. Приятного аппетита ❤️

I’ve had an idea for a caption to write for a while, but I kept forgetting to take a picture to post it with, and now I have a picture but I have no energy to write out the caption I was planning on writing 🙃I’m feeling really drained and tired today. I had another therapy session today and it was hard. I opened up about a trauma and we talked about it for most of the time, and it was strange for me because I’ve never really spoke about it to anyone, and the people I did tell never understood or made me feel like my reaction was wrong, but today felt safe and I felt heard and understood, and I’ve never felt that before. My family is very cold emotionally, so we never talk about things that have happened or emotions, which is why I never told my parents what happened, and why I feel surprised when people actually listen to me. I was shaking so much after I finished explaining what happened because telling her felt like I was acknowledging that it actually happened, but I do kind of feel like a weight has been lifted because now someone knows about it that actually wants to help. Change and healing fees so scary sometimes, but it’s always for the best 💛 sorry if none of this made sense haha, I just felt like I needed to say something about it because it’s very hard coming home from the appointment and not being able to explain to my parents why I feel so tired/upset/anxious, because they don’t know that there are other things going on aside from the eating disorder...I don’t really know what point I had to this caption, but I feel like I just needed to vent about it a bit maybe? 💛 #recovery #edrecovery #eatingdisorderrecovery #anorexianervosarecovery #anorexiarecovery #anrecovery

No, you do NOT have to be thin or “underweight” (according to BS BMI standards ) to be malnourished🙅🏻‍♀️ . Malnourishment can occur at all sizes. If you are restricting your intake, and/or exercising, malnourishment can occur. If you are living at a weight that is lower than where YOUR body wants to be (which can be a much higher weight than the medical field and society in general implies it can be ) then you are underweight for YOUR body, and malnourishment can occur. . I am so sorry if medical professionals have let you down by not recognizing this. I am so sorry if the eating disorder field has been dangerous and negligent by suggesting that you are not sick or struggling. . Fellow clinicians-We need to do better. There needs to be more education and awareness about this. Challenge the o*esity model of medicine. Challenge BMI standards. Speak out that size diversity is real, that eating disorders don’t have a “look,” and that malnourishment can occur at every size. Spread the word🗣 .
