*Fear of heights* I went for a moderate level hike in Catskills in July this past year that kicked off a series of hikes since! ¿Alguna vez te testeaste la fuerza isometrica? 🤔 Hoy te traigo un test muy sencillo para que evalúe como venís entrenando la fuerza abdominal, hombros y por sobre todo el cerebro. 🚫IMPORTANTE: Si no venís entrenando puede ser un buen punto de partida para al cabo de 6 u 8 semanas volver a evaluar. El test es un test que uso con los entrenamientos personalizados (antes eran presenciales ) para evaluar postura, capacidad de fuerza y el tiempo que puede trabajar en esta posición tan conocida: #plank o #planchabaja Comenzamos con un cronómetro en 0 y lo encendemos cuando hacemos el ejercicio, si llegamos a parar inmediatamente detenemos el cronómetro, nos tomamos un respiro y continuamos, así hasta acumular 3 minutos en reloj. Lo que vamos a tomar nota en las veces que paramos, hoy post entrenamiento me evalúe y pare 2 veces. Se que podría parar sólo 1 vez o ninguna, pero para ello debo seguir entrenando y volver a evaluarme dentro de 6 u 8 semanas. #reformingthereformer challenge! 🌟 I’m a day late and a day ahead in this post! Lol 🤪🤪🤪🤪 I’m determined to keep up with this challenge as it’s been a great way for me to get in some daily Pilates practice myself. 🙌🏻 Yesterday’s challenge was Jackrabbit🐰 The #flexdiscfit set was the perfect prop for this Pilates exercise. I decided to do some up tempo and slow tempo to change it up. The up tempo gets you in the rhythm and the slow tempo focuses on the control of drawing into deep flexion through the core. Make sure your spine stays neutral and fold at your hip to draw the knee in ✨ Next is Climb a Tree 🌳 My hamstrings are pretty flexible thanks to ballet for many years. But I always remind my students that a stretch should never strain or pain. So work within a range that is comfortable to your body. Tomorrow is Long Stretch ➿➿➿ This exercise when done on the reformer your hands hold the footbar as your legs are on the movable carriage. You hold into plank and hinge at the shoulder joint and push the carriage away. Phew! 💪I recreated it with no props and walked my hands away to reach to the corners of the mat. 🌍 SUPER CLARK 🤓 • Rubrica su curiosità e argomenti vari • PLANK: IL MIGLIORE ESERCIZIO PER AVERE ADDOMINALI SCOLPITI . La PLANK è un esercizio statico che si concentra sul lavoro addominale, ma allo stesso tempo fa lavorare tutti i muscoli del corpo 🔥 • L’esercizio permette di sviluppare la muscolatura addominale, ma per far uscire la cosiddetta tartaruga o six pack è necessario curare l’alimentazione e dimagrire fino ad avere una percentuale di grasso almeno inferiore al 20% • Se avete provato l’esercizio plank in palestra, vi sarete accorti che sebbene sembri molto facile non lo è così tanto, lo sforzo è assicurato e resistere in quella posizione non è poi così facile 😏😰 . IL "CORE" . Con “core” si identifica la fascia muscolare centrale del corpo composta dai seguenti muscoli: addominali, obliqui sia esterni che interni, traverso, diaframma, pavimento pelvico, quadrato dei lombi, paravertebrali e multifido. Il “core” garantisce stabilità in determinati movimenti, utile anche per la buona postura, per diminuire l’incidenza di ernie del disco, protusioni e lombalgie e dunque anche funzionale per la salute 💪🏼 . Per allenare il core si utilizzano esercizi come il plank. Ecco come si esegue correttamente questo esercizio: • Porsi proni sul pavimento • Ci si appoggia sugli avambracci e sulle punte dei piedi • Il corpo deve formare una linea retta • I muscoli dei glutei e dell’addome sono contratti • Tenere la posizione (si parte da un tempo minimo per poi innalzarlo progressivamente ), quindi lentamente rilassarsi per almeno una ventina di secondi e procedere nuovamente. Ripetere 4 volte. • Una delle difficoltà sta proprio nel mantenere la posizione in linea retta senza sollevarsi troppo, ma attenzione! Solo gli addominali lavorano; i muscoli della schiena non vanno contratti, non devono esserci dolori a livello lombare! Se compaiono state sbagliando l’esercizio ❌ . I piedi non sono uniti ma leggermente distanziati e le spalle non devono essere eccessivamente caricate 👍 . Cosa serve per fare questo esercizio? Resistenza e forza di volontà necessariamente; i risultati si vedranno con il tempo 😉
