Monitoring training session intensity is key, which can easily be done with RPE (Rate of Perceived Exertion ). ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 0️⃣ ↔️ 1️⃣0️⃣ EASY HARD RPE is a number between 0-10 that assesses how hard you felt the completed training was. This is a tool to decide what you do next time: Should my next session be harder or lighter than the last? If you are finding consistent RPE 8-10’s in your training show up, then you may need to tweak the program and/or schedule in recovery to move out of the red zone of potential injury risk. Another important check-in comes 24-48 hours later. Here post-training variables can be rated and factored in to your decision making: 🔹body soreness 🔹fatigue 🔹sleep quality/quantity 🔹stress 🔷mood There is always a sweet spot to training, where gains are made without injury. Great performance comes off the back of a lot of preparation and careful tweaking of training loads. Be sure to keep all of this in mind as our local sports start back up. Trapezitis/neck pain: Trapezitis is an inflammatory pain arising from the trapezius muscle causing severe neck spasm. Also known as neck pain or stiffness around the neck and shoulder or upper back pain.. Mostly commonly seen among those who are more involve in desktop work,use of more mobile phone,improper posture,strenous work using upper back. Causes: Causes of Trapezitis include: * Fatigue, Stress and tension * Strenuous work and improper posture * Forward head posture * Sitting prolong time without back support * Holding a phone between ear and shoulder * Carrying heavy backpacks / bags * Tight bra straps / the weight of heavy breasts * Breast feeding a baby with improper posture * Sleeping on your back/stomach with your head turned one side * Too high keyboard on desks * Working with no arm support on desk * Long drives on bikes/cars * Prolonged head bending activities (Reading/Looking through microscope/dentistry ) * Stiff pectoralis major muscles * Turning your head to one side for long periods to have a conversation * Sports activities with sudden one-sided movements * Much more use of cellphones with neck bending position using thick pillow Symptoms: *Severe neck pain * Stiff neck * Upper shoulder region pain * Limited range of motion/limited movement * Intolerance to weight on your shoulders * Referral pain on the back of the shoulder blade, down the inside of the arm, and into the ring and little fingers Treatment: *Stretching *Release trigger point *Ice application for 10-15 mins. If any of you are itching for a plyo box, you can get this at Home Depot in the pvc aisle for $45. Its 20” and does a damn good job (this is the tallest height, and I believe they have two smaller heights ). Its stable and the ideal height (at least to my proportions ) for a box squat along with a multitude of other exercises. ⁣ ⁣ Just a reminder that you don’t have to get price gouged and that even equipment that doesn’t say brogue can serve the same purpose.

Struggling to maintain a simple showgirl grip, can't pull up into a straddle or not nailing that press up into a handspring? This shoulder series can be used for all levels of pole dancer & will get you stroooonngg! 💪 Firstly tie up the band to measure roughly the size of your face. 💫 Exercise 1: Break the bar. Place your thumbs in front of the band. Tuck your elbows in & keep the wrists out. Retract/pull your shoulder blades together as you internally rotate the palms at a slow controlled speed. Return palms back to start position. 💫 Exercise 2: Arm lifts. Put the hands inside the band & rotate palms to face inwards. Keeping a slight pressure outwards on the band slowly lifting the arms overhead & lower. 💫 Exercise 3: Tik toks. Starting in the same position as exercise 3, keep your elbows midline as you rotate the arm away (shoulder external rotation ). 💫 Exercise 4: Overhead banded pull a part. Engage the shoulder blades with a squeeze & keep the shoulders away from the ears. Face palms inwards and alternate gentle pulls of the arms away from the midline. Brad is a qualified Senior Physiotherapist and Exercise Physiologist having graduated in 2001 from Curtin University, prior to which he completed a Bachelor of Physical and Health Education in Sports Science and Human Movement at UWA. He has had extensive experience working as an Injury Management Consultant in the mining and occupational health industries where he has developed in-depth clinical skills in treating acute and chronic back and neck pain and injuries. Brad is very much hands on and manual therapy based, enabling him to successfully treat and manage a wide variety of musculoskeletal injuries and conditions. He understands how frustrating injuries can be and aims to get people back playing their chosen sport, activities and/or returning to work sooner whether you are an elite level athlete, weekend warrior or a patient wanting to remain as active and functional as possible. Brad’s primary area of interest is in the sports and fitness fields and since finishing his WAFL and A Grade playing days at CBC Fremantle Football Club (where he has received the honour of becoming a life member ), and he has continued to be involved in providing quality Physiotherapy care to sporting teams. Away from work Brad is a Father to 3 children, enjoys living a healthy active lifestyle and participating in running, gym training and functional fitness activities.  He is an avid West Coast Eagles member who is often heard offering his advice from the sidelines at their games.

This girl had a lot of neck laxity (hypermobile ) so in the video you can saw much rotation but was just an a video effect. The elastic barrier for this girl was far so the HVLA it seems with big rotation but was not real and the execution was safety and gentle! . The girl in the video is an osteopath and was alive after manipulation 😂. Thanks for your comments good or not because I know that this technique was little forced than normal but I think that a people need a lot of learn and practice before judging this HVLA 😆 . .
