Not quite the 10lbs I was hoping to lose, but it’s better than nothing! Can’t believe it’s already April tomorrow- year is flying by! My goal for next month is, again, at least 10lbs lost. We got our treadmill yesterday but it isn’t set up yet (it will be today ), so tomorrow starts a new challenge that I am really looking forward to! It’s an overcast day here in GA, but I’m feeling sunny 🌞☺️ Let’s crush this next month of quarantine & emerge leaner, stronger, & faster!

My arms are not as big as they used to be before I got injured but I’ve been lucky enough to hold on to a decent arm size. For the rest of my body tho, I’ve lost so much muscle mass it’s unbelievable. Not sure how much muscle but probably around 8lbs of lean muscle lost I Was 183lbs at about 14% bodyfat which is fairly lean Having an injury is really annoying but I don’t complain about it. Injury is just a learning curve. I know exactly how I’m going to approach getting back into training. Gonna start light as I can for the first week or two then gradually get back up to the weights I was using. More than likely gonna switch gyms when I do get back to training 6 days a week. My gym just doesn’t have a good variety of machines and stations so I probably will change gyms and start training with @s_js3

💪🏻Working out is more than physically changing your body💪🏻 . Yes, seeing your body change is a great by product of working out but there is SO much more to it than that! . For example; working out can also.... 1. Relieve stress 2. Give you energy 3. Help with sleep 4. Improve your mental health (make you feel happier ) And the list goes on! . Taking the time to change the way you see fitness and working out can also help you maintain consistency in your training! . For example! Me 🙋🏼‍♀️ When I was struggling mentally to feel confident with my body... the gym was my mental break. I could just lift weights, get strong and feel powerful. All of my negative thoughts just left my mind during this time and I didn’t care that you could see cellulite on my legs. I realized quickly that working out was more mentally rewarding for me than physically. I was just excited to get away and lifts weights! . The other benefit... Even though during this time I was still learning about nutrition and not seeing a huge amount of fat loss, if any at all... I was still gaining muscle, which is beneficial because... when you have a higher amount of muscle mass, you will burn more calories. This makes a big difference because when I do lean out and decrease my BF % I have more definition and a more “well rounded” physique. . 💥So tell me... aside from the physical benefit, why do you workout?

SNACKING & staying healthy during the quarantine... aka how to not eat everything in sight 🤪💫⁣ ⁣ (this photo was taken before the quarantines 💛 )⁣ ⁣ i’ve gotten lots of messages asking how to limit snacking & unhealthy treats while in quarantine, so i thought i’d make a post dedicated to it! with not much to do at home, it’s easy to turn to snacking due to boredom. BUTTT! here’s how i deal with snacking, listening to my body, & eating healthy during the quarantine 🌱✨⁣ ⁣ ⭐️ snack OFTEN, but keep it balanced! my body thrives off eating 5 smaller meals a day (3 mains, 2 snacks ), so you could say i’m the queen snacker 🤪 and i always make sure to include some fats/protein in my snack to make it filling! some examples are 1/2 a cup of fruit with a small handful of nuts, 1 cup of yogurt with berries, or 2 of my AMAZING Bliss Balls (my fave recipe is in my recent post! )⁣ ⭐️ go for a walk or find a new hobby! boredom will often cause you to reach for food when you aren’t hungry, so find something to do! i love going on (social distancing ) walks outside — i’ll put on a podcast (i love @sarahs_day The Health Code 🔥 ) and go on a 1 hour walk whenever i’m feeling too cooped up.⁣ ⭐️ spend time baking HEALTHY treats and store them in the freezer so they stay fresh! it can be hard being surrounded by unhealthy food 24/7, but if you always have healthy versions of desserts on hand, you’ll feel less left out when your family starts eating cookies and ice cream 🤪⁣ ⭐️ most importantly, DON’T punish yourself for overeating! these are stressful times, so be compassionate with your body. listen to your hunger cues and avoid overdoing it on the treats, but also know that one day of eating lots of unhealthy dessert won’t derail your fitness goals. just make sure to get back on track the next day!⁣ ⁣ •⁣ •⁣ •⁣ #jazmintylerfitness #iamwellandgood #healthycollegestudent #studentathlete #kenzieburke #foodcombining #mindbodygram #foodblogger #healthblogger #wellnessblogger #gymmotivation #instafit #wedothework #1stphorm #weightlossmotivation #weightlossjourney

Put a lil make up on, got all dressed up (ok got out of pjs ) and poured myself a glass of wine purely to Zoom my gals and I can confirm it’s a lockdown v i b e 🤪🍷 . Today I skipped my workout again, may have fell face first into a bag of milky bar eggs and now I’m drinking wine at 5:30pm AND IM NOT MAD ABOUT IT! Some days are down and some are up at the moment - and lemme tell you I’m enjoying the up ones no matter what form they come in 🙌🏽 Hope you’re all having a bright n cheerful Tuesday and, if you’re not, this is a sign to go and do something which makes you feel super bright n super cheerful. Bon, là on va pas se mentir, ça commence à être vraiment long. Pour tout te dire, je ne sais plus où prendre les photos et du coup, j’étais content de voir des petites lumières sur mon balcon, puis je me suis dit...
