WHY I DO THIS SHIT...⁣ ⁣ Being a personal trainer with 1-2-1 clients is what I am passionate about. I was just building a business and client base when the world went mad and the rug was pulled from under us. It was going to be my way out of a job I no longer want to do. ⁣ ⁣ Don't get me wrong, I am grateful for a wage right now, but I resent the impact it has on me and my kids. I have chosen to socially distance from them because they do not live with me full time. It does not just affect our household but their dad's too and they have two small children. I can no longer deny that I pose a risk to them all, no matter how small. ⁣ ⁣ @corethegym , my clients and my friends there were my outlet and my sanctuary. They helped keep my mental wellbeing in check. So now I don't have that, I do this. ⁣ ⁣ I am not going to break the Internet and become a #influencer like @aliceliveing , @diren .kartal and @jamessmithpt because its already been done. It's not groundbreaking or inventive. It's for shits and giggles. To keep me busy and occupy my mind in this craziness. And if in the mean time, someone can take the odd exercise from my second rate, badly edited, porn music videos then all the better. ⁣ ⁣ I need to stay active to keep strong physically and mentally and I want to help others do the same. So, I will keep doing this shit as well as my free online group classes. ⁣ ⁣ Regardless of whether 1 or 100 people log on, it motivates me to get up and train and it keeps me sane, and hopefully does that for others too. ⁣ ⁣ Besides, my bum looks good in those leggings 🍑. So, please don't take all this too seriously. The gyms are closed so you make due with what you got!! I have minimal equipment at home. Really all I need to get a full body workout is my exercise ball and @d_quinn86 sandbag weight thingy. Yep that’s exactly what it’s called! I tried to take pictures during to show what I do. Some are blurry. You try taking a pic and balancing on a ball. It sucks! Don’t ask me the names of the exercises because I’m just making this up as I go along! I do ALOT of crunches and core with and without the ball and sandbag. For the purpose of developing a base level of strength, perform these exercises at the tempo that you see in this video; don’t rush your sets and reps. - 2. These days I am preaching long rest periods between sets of the same kind. 5 minutes or more, to be exact. (Circuit training is acceptable as long as you don’t hit the same muscles with the different exercises. ) This way, all of your sets will be effective, since you will be fully rested every time. You will progress faster! Trust the many decades of experimentation done by the Russian Olympic weightlifting teams. - 3. Never go to complete failure. Strength is a practice; the less you beat yourself up, the more you can practice. - 4. Commit to good form on every repetition that you do. With these exercises in particular, make sure to crunch a little forward in order to prevent lower back strain. Keep your head off the ground! - 5. Choose a variation in which you can perform at least 5 clean repetitions, and work from there. 🇮🇹. Back check. Tra qualche tempo questa foto sarà un ricordo di un periodo "diverso" dove però, perlomeno con un po' di buona volontà, ci si può benissimo allenare e stare in forma pure in casa. In questo momento DOBBIAMO STARE A CASA. Flagellarsi e mettersi sul divano non serve a nulla. Si possono fare tante cose, dedicare tempo ai nostri cari e, se non stanno con noi sentirli di più, studiare argomenti di nostro interesse, leggere, meditare, pianificare il futuro, approfittare per provare a fare qualcosa di nuovo. Ma quello che di meglio possiamo fare è cercare di AIUTARE nel nostro piccolo. Sono, lo ripeto, lieto e fiero di aiutarvi, durante questo periodo di restrizioni, GRATIS con consigli su come potervi allenare in casa, sia che siate "debuttanti", sia che siate intermedi o avanzati. "L'attrezzo" che vi serve di più è la volontà, associata alla voglia di chiedere. Spero nel mio minuscolo di poterlo fare con molte persone. Teniamo duro, tra qualche tempo questo periodo sarà solo uno "strano" ricordo. Cerchiamo di renderlo produttivo. IO CI SONO E ABBRACCIO TUTTI I MIEI COMPATRIOTI E NON CHE VIVONO IN ITALIA. Confused about fasted cardio? 👇🏻 . Fasted cardio is a fancy way of saying exercise on an empty stomach. The theory is when you haven't eaten for an extended period of time, your glycogen levels are low so your body will turn to stored fat to fuel the workout. As a result you burn fat faster than those who exercise fed. . 📊 Several studies on this topic have found NO DIFFERENCE in fat loss between fasted and fed groups. One study by the International Journal of Sport Nutrition and Exercise Metabolism actually measured greater fat burn 12 and 24 hours post fed exercise! . My advice 👉🏻 If fat loss is your goal, focus first on creating a meaningful calorie deficit over time. If getting cardio done before a meal is your preference, then go for it! If your exercise performance is better after a meal, then that's the ideal scenario for you. Giving the most to your workout will likely yield greater calorie burn, and therefore, improve your rate of fat loss. . I always perform MUCH better in this gym after a snack or meal. This exercises also activate your gluteus and hamstrings so it’s important to think abs when you do it so you focus on training the right muscle group for this workout.
