So, I want to ask you, truthfully: When was the last time that you felt unmotivated to workout/be active? And when you decided to do it, did you feel good about all of it? I ask this, because I know how HARD it is already some days to find the motivation, and then personally, when I throw on clothes I don’t like, and do the dang thing, (poorly and half assed sometimes ), I don’t always feel good. Yet, I don’t think that stuff matters because I workout in my garage and who cares because who is going to see me? . . PSA: YOU are going to see you. YOU know when you’re holding back because no ones going to call you out on it (silently, or not ). YOU are probably going to see yourself in a mirror and be like wow, I really hate how this shirt makes my shoulders look small. Or, wow, my love handles are way bigger than before with these shorts on; I must be losing progress...But tell me how is that constructive?!?! I ask because I’ve said those exact things TO MYSELF. It’s not healthy, and its not healing to the parts of yourself that you need the most love. So I challenge you: grab your FAVORITE OUTFIT (Ya know, the one you wear every chance it’s clean and then get sad when it’s dirty ), and hell, clean it more so you can wear it more 😂. Because guess what. Grabbing my favorite @bornprimitive sports bra that just shouts #merica 🇺🇸 , my @nikerunning shorts I ran my first half marathon in, and one of my @cyclebar_redmill headbands that stops all my sweat from pouring into my eyeballs like fiery hell, made the difference if I was going to do it or not. I looked in the mirror, felt good, and then went and CRUSHED IT. (Kudos to @rhett_baron_ for the programming. 🤙🏼 ) . . In short, do this stuff for YOU. SPEAK kindly to yourself, PUSH yourself harder, TREAT yourself to another pair of those favorite shorts you have that just give you that extra boost of confidence. It goes a long way. (And, Marie Kondo that sh*t that doesn’t make you feel like a total baller. #DoesItSparkJoy ) ✨ I’m going to try and wear my fav. outfits to class all week... if you ride with me and make the choice to do that too— let’s snap a photo! Let’s get that EVIDENCE (for us 😉 ) of feeling snazzy, k?💥

Transformation Thursday from @elev8fitnessva owner @amandalynn777 . Today my twin boys turn 1 years old👶🏼👶🏼💙 and I also have an almost 4 year old son 👦🏼😍. . This is my last shot of my belly right before I delivered the twins at 35 weeks pregnant. They were a natural birth and weighed 6lb 6oz and 5lb 5 Oz. To say this pregnancy stretched my body to capacity, would be an understatement. I gained 50 lbs during my second pregnancy and after delivery, i had a 4 finger gap in my abdominal wall (diastasis recti ). . It was a long road to recovery. I did physical therapy for my pelvic floor, I was not able to do any high impact training for at least 4 months pp due to my DR. When i finally was cleared to run, I remember getting on the treadmill and as I ran, my lower ab hit the power button on the treadmill and turned it off 😭 Talk about wanting to get off and go home, that HAD to be a sign i was done, right?! 🤷🏼‍♀️😊 . I compared my second pregnancy recovery to my first and wondered why this was taking so long. I compared myself to other moms that I saw on insta (and still sometimes do ..just being real 🙋🏼‍♀️ ) . While I still have loose skin, a 2 finger gap DR and my stomach still sticks out farther than it used to, I look back at how far I’ve come in one year and Im so glad i DID NOT QUIT 🙌🏻🎉 . It’s hard staying at home with twins, (one is always awake during the day ), trying to stay on top of everything it takes to run a gym, market, manage scheduling etc. let’s not forget having a 3 year old, staying on top of cleaning, laundry, lunches, and being a military spouse. I could easily say this is too much and not take the time to get myself healthy! I didn’t do it and you don’t have to either! . We all have 24 hours in a day and have to make sacrifices and priorities to make sure we balance everything that’s on our plate. 💥 . Moral of the story..don’t quit, even when you feel like it. Slow progress is better than NO progress. Stay committed to the plan, keep your goals in front of you and let go of your excuse and put the work in. I’m still grinding and working on improving, and i hope you are too!! . DM for info on online training for females only❤
