Try putting on your favourite music and stretching and dancing so you get your heart rate going.⠀ ⠀ Metabolism⠀ Exercise is very good for you as gets your metabolism ticking over faster and burns fat. Accelerating our metabolism during midlife is important as it burns the fat to accumulates around our middle, which is sometimes hard to shift.⠀ ⠀ Building Up⠀ If you are not used to exercising then why not begin with five minutes a day for the first week and gradually increase the time you spend exercising over a few weeks. Make sure you do exercise that you really enjoy so you are more likely to stick at it. Often diarising exercise by making it a commitment in your calendar can help you stay on track. Also, find a time that works best for you and make it part of your routine or perhaps find someone who also wants to exercise, so that you can motivate each other and stick to it.⠀ ⠀ Losing Weight⠀ Whatever exercise you do you should see results within a month or two and notice you are losing weight. 👆FULL WORKOUT 👆 - Lower body pull & upper body push training session this morning 🙋🏻‍♂️ - Short and sweet with a 10 minute warm up (no videos ), followed by 4 sets of Block A (Lower ) and 3 sets of Block B (upper ). - 🔥 WARM UP 🔥 - 👉 Lacrosse ball feet & glutes 2 x 30-60 sec each foot / ass cheek 😇 then some Band Dislocations, ISO Hold Glute Bridge Band Pull Aparts and warm up sets with the Trap Bar 👍 - A1 👉 Trap Bar Deadlift x 3 reps - A2 👉 Band Resisted RDL x 10 reps - A3 👉 Glute Bridge Slides x 8-10 reps - B1 👉 Incline Bench Press x 8-10 reps - B2 👉 Dips x 8-10 reps (depth sucked because of a dodgy right shoulder ) - B3 👉 ISO Hold Push Up x 20 sec - This is Day 2 of my new program, with the other main workout being Lower Body Push / Upper Body Pull (that’s tomorrow 😇 ) - It’s great to just be in the gym again, training hard with a solid routine and a bit of energy in the room 🔥🔥 - Questions?
