С началом недели мои спортивные и танцевальные 💖 ⠀ Сегодня #полезнаяРубрика "ОБУВЬ и СТОПЫ" 👟👣👠 ⠀ Мои хорошие, сохраняйте, делитесь и ❤️ пусть будет больше здоровых ножек 🙏 ⠀ Стопа человека имеет три точки костной опоры, две располагаются в переднем отделе стопы и одна в заднем: большой палец, мизинец и пятка☝️ У нашей стопы много функций, одна из них — амортизационная, призванная гасить все толчки ноги о землю🏃‍♂️ Но плоская стопа справляется с такой нагрузкой плохо — растет давление на позвоночник, голеностоп, коленные и тазобедренные суставы😓 Привет, артроз, грыжи, порванные связки и тд👋 Человек с плоскостопием обычно опирается при ходьбе не на три точки стопы — возле мизинца, большого пальца и пятки, а еще и на середину. В результате кости деформируются. От плоскостопия не застрахован никто❗ И никакие стельки, ортопедическая обувь и межпальцевые валики НЕ СПАСУТ ВАШИ СТОПЫ🙅‍♀️ Это всего лишь костыль, который помогает мозгу сформировать новые связи! Только движение сможет максимально эффективно улучшить состояние👣 Вот почему я так много внимания уделяю стопам своих клиентов. ▫️Throw back to two years ago this day. One of the biggest achievements in my life - graduating PT school and getting this freakin’ doctorate degree! Here are some Q’s people often ask me: 1️⃣ ”Why did you choose PT?” - most people answer with something along the lines of helping people out and making a difference in someone’s life to get them to be a little more pain free. But as I’ve gotten more experience, I realize it’s so much more than that. I love PT because you can change someone’s lifestyle habits. You can help them understand how to move and enjoy being active through pain science and making exercise part of their life. 2️⃣ “What made you start lifting?” - I’ve always played sports and was super active. It’s what I did from middle school to college (recreationally ). I’m 5’0. Ranging b/w 105-108 lbs these days. Back then it was more like 100lbs or less. I was a student PT in a clinical in hospice setting where some of the sickest people were during my second year of PT school. I was asked to transfer a patient with a below the knee amputation and he literally said, “She ain’t gonna move me 😒...” I was PISSED internally, but I knew he was right LMAO! It ignited a fire 🔥 in me to prove people like him wrong, and that’s when the strength gains began. 3️⃣ Lifting has changed my life and has helped so much with my career. Not just by getting stronger, but meeting people that share that same passion and drive to help people. This isn’t about motivation, it’s about gratitude. ••• I’m not motivated everyday. ••• Nobody is. ••• But spending 5 years sitting in a prison cell, watching helplessly as day after day passed me by changed the way I look at time. ••• Just imagine... ••• I had all of these ideas about what I wanted to do with my life. ••• I wanted to become a personal trainer... ••• I wanted to become a nutrition coach... ••• I wanted to own a gym... ••• I wanted my gym to be a place where people changed their lives... ••• I wanted to use my story to help and inspire others... ••• I wanted to start TODAY! ••• But no matter how desperate I was to start living that life, I couldn’t. ••• So, I sat, thinking. ••• Seemingly every second of the day I’d think about what I’d do with my time if only I had the freedom to choose. ••• Well, today, I do have the freedom to choose. ••• And, I still haven’t forgotten what it was like to not have that choice. ••• I haven’t forgotten how it felt to watch those days pass by... ••• Never again. ••• So, it’s not that I’m motivated every day - but I’m extremely grateful for the opportunities that I have. ••• Getting out of bed in the morning when I want to hit the snooze button is how I express my gratitude. ••• Driving to the gym, even when my whole body is sore and I don’t “feel like” working out, is how I express my gratitude. ••• Showing up to work early and pouring all of my energy and attention into my daily tasks and responsibilities is how I express my gratitude. ••• I see a lot of people talking about the “I have to” vs “I get to” mentality but how many of us are actually operating with that mentality? ••• Not a critique, just food for thought... ••• #iam1stphorm #75hard

HOW DO YOU KNOW WHAT YOU CAN DO IF YOU HAVENT TRIED? . . . We are all born to move forward, to grow, to learn, to push boundaries, and to achieve greatness. So how can you say you can’t achieve something just by hearing what it is or seeing someone else do it? How can you say “I wish I could do that” or worse, “I could never do that.” We have gotten so used to our comfort zones that we forgot what it’s like to say “fuck it” or to just take a leap of faith. We immediately cringe at the thought of something difficult and we deny deny deny until we don’t have to do it. Learn to change that mentality. Learn to tell yourself that you can do it, if not today, tomorrow. Take the first step and learn. Then practice. And then do more than you ever thought you could. What is the point of living life if you’re just going to stay in your comfort zone and try nothing new? What are you telling your kids, your family, and your friends? Why not be the one that inspires them to do something amazing? Be better. Not just for yourself, but for those around you! We are all born with so much potential no matter what background we came from. We all have the power in us to be great, and to thrust greatness upon the world. Don’t look to others to be inspired, inspire others. Once people see that you did something they said they couldn’t do, they will change their mindset. And most of all, love yourself enough to not limit yourself.
