Toast Tuesday! It's been a long time since I've enjoyed rye bread, so I was over the moon when I found this at  @aldi last week! Would you believe this nutritious staple was the only type of bread that was fully stocked on the shelves? I first discovered rye bread when my lovely Finnish friend  @annaemiliav introduced me to it during her exchange year in the UK 7 years ago! I loved the rich flavour and did my best to find it in the UK, but at the time it wasn't very popular. Since then artisan bakeries and chefs have helped raise its profile, and now it's much easier to find rye bread in the supermarkets. But why should you try it? It is higher in fibre than typical mass-produced white bread It provides a source of iron and B vitamins Rye bread contains iron and a whole range of other minerals The flavour is rich and works with sweet and savoury toppings! I've topped off a slice of rye bread with mashed avocado, a duck egg, and sauteed mushrooms with a pinch of salt and pepper. It's cooking and nutrition at its simplest, but the flavour and nutrient profile is boosted in comparison to standard white bread. ​​Куриные биточки: белковые бомбы! 🍃 на 100грамм - 109.6 ккал. Б/Ж/У - 20.31/1.98/1.25 🍃 Ингредиенты: Куриное филе - 500 г Лук - 1/2 шт Яйцо - 1 шт Чеснок - 10 г Зелень - по вкусу Соль, перец - по вкусу Приготовление: Пропустите куриное филе через мясорубку. Лук и чеснок очистите и измельчите. Зелень нарежьте. Смешайте все вышеперечисленные ингредиенты. Добавьте яйцо, предварительно взбитое вилкой. Хорошо перемешайте. Разогрейте в сковороде масло. Мокрыми руками формируйте небольшие биточки и выкладывайте в масло. Обжаривайте на среднем огне в течение 2 -х - 3 -х минут с каждой стороны, до золотистой корочки. Готовые пончики складывайте на тарелку с бумажной салфеткой, чтобы убрать лишнее масло. There are foods which are more nutrient dense than others, and I can assure you an athlete's diet consists of a LOT of different foods!⁠⠀ ⁠⠀ Example, Mexi Quinoa bowl with big dollops of home made hummus and guacamole. Served with a few corn chips and lettuce leaves. ⁠⠀ ⁠⠀ To make:⁠⠀ ⁠⠀ 1.5 cups cooked quinoa ⁠⠀ 1 tin canned corn⁠⠀ 1 tin black beans ⁠⠀ 1/4 cup red onion (diced )⁠⠀ 1 red pepper (diced )⁠⠀ 3-4 tomatoes (diced ) ⁠⠀ 1 avocado (chopped )⁠⠀ As much coriander as you can handle⁠⠀ ⁠⠀ 👉🏻Assemble all ingredients in a bowl. ⁠⠀ ⁠⠀ Now the key here is the dressing so pay attention ya'll. ⁠⠀ ⁠⠀ 30g cider vinegar⁠⠀ 20g honey⁠⠀ 30g lime juice⁠⠀ Fresh corinader (1/2 bunch, stalks and leaves )⁠⠀ 1 tsp English mustard⁠⠀ 1 garlic clove⁠⠀ Crack of salt and pepper⁠⠀ ⁠⠀ 👉🏻 BLEND all the dressing together, the coriander should only be slightly pulpy but contained within a delicious liquid. I usually make double because it's so tasty.⁠⠀ ⁠⠀ Combine the dressing with the above ingredients in the bowl. ⚠️Ингредиенты: 600 гр филе бедра индейки 1 болгарский красный перец 1 луковица 1/2 стручка острого перца 2 зубчика чеснока 0,5 см корня имбиря Соль, кайенский перец, зелёный лук, сок лимона Соус: 4 ст л соевого соуса 1/2 пакетика сахзама "Fit parad N7" 4 ст л рисового уксуса 1 ч.л кукурузного крахмала Приготовление: 1. Филе вымыть, обсушить, очистить от пленок и нарезать длинными, тонкими полосками. Овощи вымыть и нарезать соломкой. Очистить чеснок, имбирь и нарезать мелко. 2. Разогреть сковороду с толстым дном, добавить 1 ч л масла, разогреть. Лук, чеснок, имбирь слегка обжарить и добавить сладкий и острый перец. Обжаривать помешивая на среднем огне до состояния альдэнтэ. Овощи выложить в другую ёмкость. 3. Мясо индейки выложить в сковороду, обжарить, посолить, добавить кайенский перец и залить горячей водой. Тушить до готовности. После того как выкипит вода, добавить 1 ст л масла и обжарить мясо. В обжаренное мясо добавить овощи, прогреть вместе минуты 3. Сделать соус. Для этого смешать все ингредиенты и добавить к мясу. Прогреть всё вместе, помешивая, добавить по вкусу лимонный сок. 4. Готовое блюдо присыпать зеленым луком, гарнировать рисом. ​​😋Куриные бедрышки в апельсиново-соево-горчичном маринаде. Мясо получается волшебным! Потрясающе вкусно!! Ингредиенты: Куриные бедрышки - 6 шт. Апельсин - 1 шт. Соевый соус - 1 ст.л. Горчица - ½ ст.л. Оливковое масло - 1 ст.л. Сушеный базилик - ½ ч.л. Соль Черный молотый перец Приготовление: Нам понадобится цедра с половинки апельсина (натереть на мелкой терке ) и сок из целого апельсина (можно выжать руками ). Делаем маринад. Для этого смешиваем апельсиновый сок, цедру, соевый соус, горчицу, оливковое масло и сушеный базилик. Мясо солим и перчим. Заливаем мясо маринадом и отправляем в холодильник на ночь. Запекаем в разогретой до 200°С духовке 40 мин. some mornings, all you need is a plate of these almond flour pancakes!! 🥞🙌🏼 made with 7 ingredients and topped with sliced bananas, strawberries, shredded coconut and drizzles of creamy peanut cashew butter 🍌🍓 these pancakes are simple and so fluffy! i used @bobsredmill super-fine almond flour - made by grounding whole blanched almonds into a fine meal! it gives a nutty flavor and moist texture to baked goods! breakfast pancake recipe below! ———————————— ingredients: 2 large eggs 1/4 cup almond milk 1 tbsp coconut sugar 1 tsp vanilla extract 3/4 cup @bobsredmill super-fine almond flour 1 tsp baking powder 1/8 tsp sea salt butter/ghee for cooking ———————————— directions: 1. whisk together eggs, almond milk, maple syrup and vanilla extract. 2. mix in @bobsredmill almond flour, baking powder and sea salt. 3. preheat a skillet over medium-heat on the stove with butter/ghee. add batter to skillet, forming a round pancake shape about 1/4 inch thick. 4. cook until little bubbles form around the edges (about 2-3 mins ), then flip and cook other side for another 1-2 minutes. repeat with remaining batter! #winniesbalance #bloomwithbobs #ad

CHICKPEA VEGGIE OMELETTE🤩🌱🙌🏼Who needs eggs when you have chickpea flour?! A great plant based alternative to eggs that is: ✅Totally pantry-friendly. ✅Packed full of protein and fibre. ✅Will keep you full for hours. ✅Plus it genuinely tastes like an actual omelette!! .
