Pretty much the best I ever was in meaning of strength at 98kg. Really Miss the gym... the moment of complete exhaustion after finally being allowed to drop the weights when the set is done, knowing you will do it all again in a couple of minutes. The pump. BEING BULLIED SUCKED⠀ ⠀ But being bullied was the best thing that could’ve happened to me.⠀ ⠀ For those who dont know I am short…welcome ⠀ ⠀ All through elementary I was like 3’10 (no joke ) but that wasn’t the worst part, I was also already pretty muscular. ⠀ ⠀ I never seen it as a problem because the common physique of my family was athletic.⠀ ⠀ This wasn’t a prominent issue for me until I came to america, let alone south texas in 3rd grade. Lets just say it was not the norm ⠀ ⠀ I’ve heard it all from you look like a man, to being called little boy or lil man.⠀ ⠀ It probably didn’t help that Im a daddy’s girl and was naturally a tomboy.⠀ ⠀ I played every sport from soccer to basketball so being tough and completive was in my blood⠀ ⠀ This was tolerable in elementary because lets be honest..tf is really going on in elementary⠀ ⠀ But getting to middle school is where it truly affected me⠀ ⠀ I liked this guy in my class, we were pretty close since I was always cool with the boys.⠀ ⠀ When I dropped a hint to take it a step forward he made the comment “I would defiantly talk to you if you weren’t bigger than me” while rolling up his sleeve attempting to flex his muscles⠀ ⠀ When I say devastated… man ⠀ ⠀ Hearing it from the girls I thought were my friends made it even worst “Im scared of deana, she looks like a man”⠀ ⠀ I went home and told my dad about the things people would say about me⠀ ⠀ Of course being the best dad in the world he told me they are all just jealous of you because you’re the best athlete in the school, the smartest on the team, and the prettiest doing it⠀ ⠀ I mean how could I argue with that….idk but I did⠀ ⠀ Because as a kid though that may have been true, all I knew is my peers didn’t agree.⠀ ⠀ This caused me to put put a wall and act like I didn’t need friends or anyone to be around me⠀ ⠀ Going on to high school I didn’t go to the one I was zone to but instead a newer one across town…⠀ ⠀ A boogie-er one…they weren’t in the same tax bracket as my other school to say the least. ⠀ ⠀ Of course I isolated myself… at least at this school, being an athlete was a big deal. So I made my way around ⠀ ❗️CONTINUED IN COMMENTS....❗️
