Does it really matter what other people think of what you’re doing if it brings you SO MUCH JOY??🤍 — I used to worry so much about what other people would think of me or what I was doing. It’s so sad bc that crushed so much of my joy. The thing is if someone isn’t happy for you, it says more about them than you and they just aren’t your people & that’s OK! It took me a while to accept that but when you do, it’s like a switch that turns on with all the opportunities in life. Be proud of yourself for how far you’ve come🖤All of the ups and downs you’ve faced made you who you are today- so be proud. Progress isn’t a linear path, there are going to be good and bad times on your journey. The number one thing you should do is to NOT GIVE UP. The only way you will fail is if you give up on yourself. Please believe in yourself and know that good things will come for you I promise. You just can’t give up yet- good things take time!✨ In the first photo: (August 2019 ) I loved my body & I worked out just because I loved it. In the second photo: (May 2020 ) My battle with loving myself has gotten worse and so has having a bad relationship with food. I lost myself for a bit and still working on getting myself back. This goes to show you that during your fitness journey like I said above, it’s not all going to go smooth sailing. You will have tough times just like you do in life but the COMEBACK IS ALWAYS GREATER THAN THE SETBACK💪🏼Always remember that and never give up on yourself🦋 One of my BIGGEST inspirations @ashleybarron .fitness has been my biggest motivator for the longest time. She has helped me stay positive and always motivates me with the quotes she posts. If I put together a low-impact Abdominal Workout Routine, would you try it? I'm curious as to what type of content you are interested in seeing. ⁠ ⁠ I've received feedback that some of the workouts I have featured in the past are too intense. I understand this does not fit everyone's personal workout styles or goals, because there is no "One-Workout-Fits-All" mindset in fitness. Working on getting back to where I was 💪🏼 - Surgery is now 2 months ago. I can really feel how my surgery wound is getting better every week (on the inside, the outside is already 100% healed ). I can also do more, sports related, every week without pain 🙏🏻 - Currently not at home, so no gym. Okay this one even kind of shocked me.⁣ ⁣ I was going through an old hard drive and came across this. I was actually a little taken back when I saw it. This was my heaviest inside AND out. Believe it or not in this photo I’m teaching teenagers how to hear the voice of God yet privately in a season of what felt like complete abandonment. ⁣ ⁣ I look back now with full clarity. I wasn’t abandoned, I wasn’t unwanted, I wasn’t alone, and I wasn’t going to always struggle. I’m grateful for this journey because without it I wouldn’t be able to come into your journey and tell you with full confidence THINGS CAN CHANGE. 💜

Transformation Tuesday.... . Let me start by saying I’m not talking about a physical transformation at all here! Physically there in nothing wrong with the girl in this before and after. The transformation here is all about CONFIDENCE!!! When I look back at old photos from even just 3 years ago before I started my health and fitness journey, I find that I used to hide behind anything and everything- babies on my hip, toys, my husband, other people, a stroller, more babies. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the way I looked, yet I was uncomfortable in my own skin, uncomfortable being seen, uncomfortable just being 100% me! I went from a mom of 1 who wanted to stay hidden to a mom of 3 shouting from the rooftops and sharing my journey for all to hear. Over the last 3 years I’ve definitely had a major physical transformation, but what I love most is the confidence I’ve gained. Confidence that comes from the inside out. Confidence in the woman I am, the woman I have been, and the woman I’m still evolving into. Confidence that while my past does not define me, it is part of my story and it’s ok to own it. Confidence in setting goals, going after them, and believing I can achieve them when I put in the work. Confidence in sharing my journey with others and helping them do the same. Confidence in the fact that the future is bright, but I’m exactly where I’m supposed to be right now, right in this moment. Confidence that I am enough and am worthy of it all! THAT my friends, is the most important transformation I’ve had. It’s way more than physical! It’s still crazy to me that my home workouts led to this transformation from the inside out, but it’s 100% true! It took me a long time to figure this out so I hope as you read this you know you are enough and do not need to hide behind anything, you’re worthy of it all right now, right where you are in this moment!.
