Wondering if I can get back to this without a gym 🤔 - - Of course it’s my job to say that progress is totally possible without going to the gym & it is, however, there is a barrier that cannot be ignored. - - We rely on the gym to remove all distractions so that we can focus on the training. Once you’re there you will get the work done because what else is there. - - Whether there’s a gym or not those distractions remain, it’s just the change of environment that removes the expectation of doing something other than train. It renders it impossible to get distracted. - - Maybe setting a space aside that becomes the home gym will have the same effect. Taking yourself away & shutting the door will remove expectation & distraction. - - Now I’m not going to stand here & say it’s that easy. This has been my real struggle. I’ve not been perfect. I’ve not managed to solve this for myself yet. - - 🤫 don’t tell @mikebicepsbanter though I don’t check in until Thursday. - - Trying to change the environment is the biggest thing that stands out. - - Sharing this as more my own personal feelings. It won’t be the same for everyone. I know I’m not the only one struggling. Banana & Chocolate Chip Oat Muffins . . Another old recipe but a simple and good one. Everything into a blender and away you go !!! These oat muffins are sooooo good. . . 128 calories per muffin . . Recipe below 👇🏼: . . Chocolate chip banana muffins Ingredients: 200g oats 2 bananas 2 eggs 150g Greek yogurt 50g granulated sweetener or caster sugar * 1.5 teaspoon of baking powder 1/2 teaspoon vanilla essence 50g dark chocolate chips *macros will be altered if using caster sugar Method : 1. Preheat oven to Gas mark 5 2. Place all ingredients (except the chips )in a blender until smooth. 3. Fold in the chocolate chips and then divide into a *well greased* muffin tray as follows 4. Bake for 20-25 mins

Lots of new followers recently so thought I’d share a little bit about myself and what my page is about. It’s a mixed bag to be fair !! Food ideas and recipes, my own progress / experiences etc . . My own journey within Health & Fitness first started over 5 years ago. At the time I lived a very different lifestyle , it consisted of wine most nights, shit food choices and lack of clear purpose. This led me to a point where I wasn’t too impressed with what I saw in the mirror physically or how I felt mentally and the direction my life was taking me as I headed to my 40’s . So I decided do something about it & be proactive about my health & fitness making it more of a priority. . . Believe me when I say I tried & failed numerous different approaches, strict boring meal plans, fad diets etc ....all of which I didn’t find enjoyable or sustainable. UNTIL I discovered and became educated on the concept of flexible dieting did I see results and maintain those results. I discovered you don’t need to cut out “bad foods” or certain food groups to get in shape and be fit & healthy. . . After changing my own lifestyle I continued to invest into this hobby turning it into a part time career helping others. I qualified as a Nutrition Coach before then starting my own coaching business, The Macro Coach, in 2017 to help others achieve their goals. . . My biggest pleasure in life along with my own fitness & gym life is helping others achieve their goals in a healthy sustainable manner by following a varied non-restrictive dieting approach. This page is about putting out informative content , sharing my own story & experiences as well creating & sharing recipes for healthier Low-calorie versions of all-time favorite Dishes & Treats. My motto is no food is off-limits. Everything is acceptable in moderation & that includes homemade cakes . .
