I get why it’s so easy to put fruit in the same bucket as sugar. But can we just hold on for a moment? . You see unlike added sugar and sugar substitutes, fruit comes perfectly packaged in fibre (which helps keep you full amongst other things ) and is packed with precious vitamins and minerals 👍🏻 . And unlike fruit juice (don’t even get me started... )which has the fibre stripped out of it, you’re not eating ‘free sugars’. You’re eating a whole food. . So please don’t be afraid of fruit ok? . We’ve been amazingly fortunate to have a neighbour in the mountain who grows his own berries, so I’ve been filling up buckets and buckets of berries strawberry 🍓 . Still not entirely sure what I’ll be making with all of them yet though. I feel some cooking coming in... . Any suggestions? Turkey Burger Bowl 👌🏻 Another day, another bowl of leftovers! Like I said yesterday- most days my lunches are just leftovers reheated and thrown in a bowl with spinach or spring mix on the bottom. Super easy! I’ve been loving plant based meals recently but also give me some turkey burgers + bacon 🥓 😏 For me, I’ve been loving having a balance of both! ➰ Blesotto au cumin et champignons ➰ Pour ce midi c’est un blesotto veggie ! J’avais envie de cumin, de champignons, après avoir longtemps hésité à faire un risotto, j’ai opté pour un blesotto ! Tout aussi bon 😋 Pour la recette, il vous faut : ( 2 personnes ) ▪️ 125 gr de blé précuits ▪️ 1 gousse d’ail ▪️ 1 CS d’huile d’olive ▪️ 1/2 cube de bouillon de légumes ▪️ 30 gr parmesan en poudre ▪️ 450 ml d’eau ▪️ sel, poivre ▪️ 1 cc de cumin ▪️ des champignons ▪️ du persil ▪️ Ail Réaliser un bouillon de légumes avec l’eau et le cube de bouillon de volaille. Peler et hacher la gousse d’ail, faire revenir le blé avec l’huile d’olive et l’ail. Ajouter une louche de bouillon de légumes, le cumin et le laisser réduire. Renouveler l’opération jusqu’au épuisement du bouillon et de la cuisson du blé. Saler et poivrer. En fin de cuisson ajouter le parmesan et réserver. Dans une poêle, faire revenir les champignons dans un filet d’huile d’olive, de l’ail haché et du persil. Servir par dessus le blesotto et déguster bien chaud.
