Finally, blue skies and sunshine. I’m not foolish enough to believe we won’t have another (or 6 ) snow storm. But today, I’ll enjoy perfect running temps. . This is a safe space, right? I’ve been experiencing extreme amounts of stress lately! I’m blessed to still have a job and to be afforded the luxury of working from home. However, I’m feeling the stress from my job even more lately. There is so much good & joy & happiness in my life. But my job is causing me to break down almost daily. Anyone else feeling this? I don’t really know why, but this aspect of my life feels so much more stressful right now. I know it will pass, but right now it just feels a little overwhelming. I’m sure part of the issue is due to the fact that I’m no longer meeting with my clients in person. It’s my favorite aspect of my job and it’s difficult to manager everything via email, phone calls & @zoom_video_communications I just want that in-person meeting! But, I’m staying away for my safety and the safety of everyone. If you’re feeling the same—a littler overwhelmed and a little more stressed, know I’m right there with you! And I’m sending virtual hugs, at least until I can give real life hugs again! 🤗

I do not remember the exact day. . .
Living without neither balcony, nor garden, nor courtyard, I do need to catch some fresh air and stretch my legs once in a while.
While the beautiful sights of Paris might be too far from my place, the good thing is, chances of crossing paths with other runners on the unglamorous streets of my neighbourhood are super slim.
I also did some recon on where and when to go on my next grocery hunt. Common sense really: avoid the rush-hour times and popular spots. Sometimes going the same amount of steps into the opposite direction is the best solution.

When I go and hit a workout I ALWAYS make sure to track every single set that is done, because progressive overload is VERY important to gain muscle/strength. And more important to MAINTAIN muscle during these times you may also want to do this to increase your intensity. WHAT IS PROGRESSIVE OVERLOAD? Progressive overload is the gradual increase of stress placed upon the body during exercise training, this technique is recognized as a fundamental principle for gaining muscle or strength. SO HOW DO I APPLY THIS TO MY WORKOUTS? Track your sets/reps and the next time you workout try to put on some more weight/do the movement a bit slower or do a few reps more! TRAIN HARDER THAN LAST TIME!
