Does anyone else feel like a badass when they pick up weights? As you might have seen, I have a serious passion for working out. In such a difficult time for many of us, this is one of the constants in my life which has helped my mental state, and given me something to look forward to each day. I seriously wake up each morning looking forward to my workouts! Weird 🙄.. I know! But it's no different than you waking up excited to paint, or hike, or clean (anybody out there?? ) but whatever your passion may be.. mine is fitness!! I have been athletic all my life. I love sports, always worked in a gym yada yada and started working out from home 3 years ago and found so much consistency in my lifestyle, so for me, not much has changed with this pandemic. Sure I struggle, sometimes I quit in the middle of a workout, and not every day do I give it my all or even want to press play, but I always know that once I start, I am less likely to quit on myself. I see a lot of people quit before they even get started. Heck I've done it in many other areas of my life... but 9/10 times we quit because we are afraid to fail! We convince ourselves we can't do it before we even try. But ladies and gents, Let me remind you! You don't fail... unless you quit trying!! Let me say that again. 👏🏼YOU WILL NOT FAIL...UNLESS YOU QUIT TRYING! 👏🏼 So stop quitting on yourself! Whatever it may be. I don't care if it's fitness, nutrition, if it's a course you are taking, if it's learning a new language or to paint or dance, whatever it may be... stop quitting on yourself!! Go find something that makes you feel the way these weights make me feel, keep trying, keep learning, keep challenging yourself.. Go be A BADASS!! And DON'T QUIT! It'll do you some good in a time like this!! ✌🏼✌🏼✌🏼

One day at a time, we’ll get through this 🧡 . If I think about where we’ll be a couple months from now (or even a couple weeks, for that matter ), I get very overwhelmed . So I’m trying to think about today. Today I woke up, taught an IG LIVE, and ate breakfast.
