Meal Prepped Egg Cups!⁠ -⁠ Seasoned with:👉 #Flavorgod Everything Seasoning⁠ -⁠ 💥To make these spray avocado oil on silicone muffin pan. (You can use individual silicone liners but from experience the silicone muffin pan works much better and they just pop right out.⁠ 💥Crack an egg in each spot (you can scramble before if you prefer ), top with cheese, pre cooked meat and seasoning (tonight I used cheese, bacon crumbles, diced ham and @flavorgod everything seasoning ) .⁠ 💥Cook 400* for 18 minutes. (Ovens may vary so adjust accordingly but this gives a completely cooked egg in my oven )⁠ .⁠ .⁠ . 💥Store in airtight container in fridge and reheat during the work week for an easy breakfast. He likes to add a little salsa to the top. #FaceToFaceFriday Forehead Edition. Swipe for before and after Dysport. Long post below. . . I've always hated my forehead. Even before the weight loss, I had this deep wrinkle smack dab in the middle. After weight loss, it multiplied into several deep wrinkles and I got very frustrated. Those of you that know me, know that I'm very expressive when I talk. This includes using my arms and facial expressions when I talk. Well, after doing a ton of research and swallowing my pride, I decided to see a doctor. She explained the benefits of both Botox and Dysport. While Botox would likely last longer and have more of a frozen look, I did not want to lose my ability to really express emotion through facial expressions. Dysport would relax the muscles, still giving them some movement, while freezing the rest of my upper forehead. Inwass o nervous that I would look plastic or that all of you would notice a difference. Funny thing is I DID THIS 3 MONTHS AGO. No one noticed anything. Not a single eyebrow was raised (see what I did there? ) 🤣😂 Anyways... I could not be happier. Loving my new forehead. The effects are fading, and I'm just waiting for COVID-19 to chillax and I'll get another dosage. “Are you hungry or are you just bored?⁣⁣⁠” ⁣⁠ Lately, I’ve had to ask myself this question each time I walk into my kitchen pantry…⁣⁠ ⁣⁠ With the majority of the world on the #WFH grind, or out of work entirely for the time being, stress and boredom are at an all time high. AND we have dangerously high accessibility to all the tempting foods in our pantry…⁣⁠ ⁣⁠ In an ideal world, we wouldn’t turn to food for entertainment or security, but it’s all we’ve ever known. It’s not your fault. You were *most likely* raised to use food to regulate emotions. To make you feel better when you’re sad, and to celebrate when you’re happy. So it’s no wonder that you turn to it during uncertain times like these!⁣⁠ ⁣⁠ If you find yourself rushing to the kitchen all hours of the day right now..I want you to ask yourself a few very important questions to help distinguish if you’re actually hungry, or just bored:⁣⁠ ⁣⁠ When was the last time you ate? Are you hungry, or are you simply, “not full?”⁣⁠ ⁣⁠ If this bag of chips or jar of peanut butter were a plate of broccoli, would you still eat it?⁣⁠ ⁣⁠ Is food what you really need right now? Or is it a hug, a friend, a walk, some sunshine etc etc?⁣⁠ ⁣⁠ Are you going to feel guilty/beat yourself up tonight for eating this?⁣⁠ ⁣⁠ Obviously, you need to eat. SO if you are truly hungry, go for it! But, odds are, you don’t need to be running to your pantry every 2 hours to grab a snack. What you probably need is a break. A hug. Something to take your mind off things. Sure, food may be able to do that for a little while, but I really want to challenge you to find other ways to entertain yourself during this time. ⁣⁠ ⁣⁠ Save this post to help you the next time you find yourself running to the pantry when you’re bored!⁣⁠

A year ago at 230 pounds with a knee bracelet because my knees couldn’t hold my weight while running vs today!! I started my fitness journey by going on walks. All I did was walk for 20-30 mins for WEEKS. Then slowly but surely, I added some jogging to my walks. The most I could run for was 30 seconds (completely out of breath ). Soon enough, my knees got really sore and for a couple of weeks I had to wear a knee bracelet because I couldn’t walk without feeling pain. With ice & rest, that pain eventually went away and I got back to interval jogging. By December, I was doing my first 5K. Now, I can do 2 miles in half an hour. 💫New Online Service💫 . As many of you will know I am also a qualified physiotherapist (UK Registered ) and I have decided to add Online Physiotherapy sessions to my current services. I have worked in both the NHS and hospitals abroad which involved working on respiratory wards and ICU. My main focus during this time is to provide information and teach techniques related to respiratory physiotherapy for those of you at home who are in need or are unable to access a physiotherapist in person. There are a few private practice physiotherapists already offering musculoskeletal physio services online but I’m struggling to find anyone who is offering respiratory physio advice online. . Part of what I will be teaching will be therapeutic breathing techniques (these are different to yoga or meditation breathing techniques ), airway clearance techniques and positioning advice (amongst a few other things ). This will be done via Skype/Zoom or WhatsApp video calls so that I can demonstrate the techniques and get you to repeat them to me to make sure you are understanding correctly. . So if you would like to book a session to go through this information, or you have a loved on that maybe be vulnerable during this time that you would like to learn in case of needing to assist them with these things at home please send me and email or DM. 6 Months of Putting My Health First 🌟With everything going on, I've never been more grateful for my health. It's so much more than the number on the scale.⁠ .⁠ Our bodies are amazing. Look at what my body was able to do in 6 months: lose 50 pounds! Yesterday vs today. Yesterday I felt good. Worked out, showered did my hair, got ready. Owned this quarantine ish...🤣 . Today. Was a rough one. Fortunately for me, in the middle of my funk, I remembered my fav Zumba class was tonight at 7pm live. (Thanks @mele29 ) Sooooo I got up and decided I’d just give it 10% of what I normally do, that some movement and endorphins would be good for me, and by the end, I was grooving 💃 and I felt so much betterrrrrrr. . These times are insane as we all know. Its easy to fall in a funk, or to have your mood be all over the place. Every day I’m feeling every emotion in the book. I would tell you to move for your mental health, but maybe that’s not for you. I have no idea what I’m doing each day. Just know you’re not alone.❤️ #alonetogether
