The amazing raw vegan tacos I had yesterday! 💙💚💜 . I don’t have exact measurements, but for the taco “meat” I pulse about 2 cups of white mushrooms, 1/2 cup raw walnuts, and 1/3 cup sundried tomatoes in my food processor and add homemade taco seasoning. 🌈✨ . I fill the lettuce boats with homemade guacamole (avocado, tomato, cilantro, red onion, jalapeño, non gmo corn, lime juice, garlic, salt and pepper ), the mushroom “meat”, extra tomato, cilantro, and purple cabbage!! 💜 . The taco seasoning doesn’t need to be homemade if you can find a quality packet without a bunch of fillers and additives. I make this recipe and then ONLY sprinkle in the mixed up spices til it tastes good (don’t do too much ). 👍🏻 . 1 tablespoon chili powder 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder 1/4 teaspoon onion powder 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano 1/2 teaspoon paprika 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cumin 1 teaspoon sea salt 1 teaspoon black pepper . . Not many people have this capability. 2 ) To collaborate and support a credible initiative/initiatives. ___ Here are a few things to consider: Who is/are the initiator(s )? Character Track record Credibility Accountability Sustainability Is this a one-off effort or can the funds continue to do good even after we overcome this herculean problem? ____ What specific issues do you want to address? Provide succour to the most vulnerable? Provide equipment and welfare for our heroic medical personal? Provide critical emergency medical equipment? Support the building of hospital infrastructure etc? Funding medical research ____ It is not about how much you have. Give what you can. The smallest contribution adds up. What I do EVERY MORNING to boost my IMMUNE SYSTEM and what always keeps me healthy while traveling⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Since my last story where I posted about my morning routine, many of you asked how I was taking my lemon juice and garlic⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Well, this is the first thing I do when I wake up. Make sure your water is not cold because this is bad for your body! It must be at room temperature or warm but not boiled. Lemon juice protects the body from Immune system deficiencies and possess strong antibacterial properties.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ And garlic is one of the best natural antibiotics there is. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ This is pretty useful, especially while traveling and if you have sensitive intestines.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Unlike chemical ones, it does not ruin your intestinal gut but in the contrary, it helps kill all the yeast that might be growing, aka candida, and it's a great anti inflammatory. I had a candida infection for many years and garlic is one of the best thing there is against it but that will be for an other story.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Lemon on the other side is alkaline. See, the big problem of our modern times is that the food we eat is way too acidic and most of us have an acidic PH. And do you know what happens when your ph is acidic? Well, it makes you vulnerable to illness and disease, whereas being alkaline is considered protective. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Some studies have even shown that cancer cells thrive in highly acidic environments – in other words, environments with a low pH.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ If you wanna be healthy and straighten your immune system, there is no secret. You should adopt an alkaline diet meaning eating more vegetables, fruits and drinking lots of water and cutting back on sugar, alcohol, meat and processed foods. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Plus, did you know having an alkaline body slows down the aging process?⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Tip: cut the garlic as small as you can. Many of us are finding ourselves eating more than we should right now, either just snacking out of boredom, or eating for emotional comfort. Or is it just me? 😬 .
