Today’s full body workout was good but I just felt I ran out of time... BREAKFAST MUFFINS . These are fun to make with the kids and are great for refuelling after a morning workout!! . MAKES 12 . INGREDIENTS . 🧁 100g rolled oats . 🧁 120g wholemeal self raising flour . 🧁 2 tsp baking powder . 🧁 1 tsp ground cinnamon . 🧁 250g 0% fat Greek yogurt . 🧁120ml of milk or almond milk . 🧁 50g butter melted . 🧁 3 eggs beaten . 🧁4 tsp vanilla extract . 🧁 4 tbsp granulated sweetener . 🧁 300g ripe banana mashed . 🧁 150g blueberries . For the topping . 30g mixed seeds . 1 tbsp rolled oats . 1 tbsp Demerara sugar . 1. Preheat the oven to 200C. Add 12 muffin cases to a standard muffin tray. . 2. Blend the oats in a food processor to the consistency of flour. Add ALL the ingredients except the banana and blueberries and blend until smooth. . 3. Transfer the mixture into a large bowl and add the banana and blueberries. Divide the mixture evenly between the paper cases. . 4. For the topping mix the seeds, oats and sugar together. Sprinkle over the muffins. . 6. Bake in the oven for 20-25minutes or until the muffins have risen. Transfer to a wire rack to cool. . ENJOY 💫 . So @coaching .with.caroline messaged me this morning to hold me accountable to the 4km run I said I'd do today. Now in all honesty I could've deleted the message and pretend I didn't see it but I'd only be letting myself down. Not only did she up my 4km target and push me to do 4.25km. I actually managed 4.5km with the last 2km being into a strong head wind! It was cold, it was windy but I feel great! HAPPY THURSDAY GUYS!!!🤗 I feel like there has been a lot of negativity and a lot of serious talk on social media over these past few weeks. And I mean, there is a reason for that. BUT today I wanted to use my little Johanna craziness (my friends and family know what I am talking about lol😂 ) to just spread some positive vibes and fun.🙆 . .My motto: I tried to be normal once, worst two minutes if my life✌😜 . .Swipe ➡ to see a pure fun cool down I did today. It's not only a little parody on aerobic/zumba workouts (sorry not sorry✌😂 ) but it's also doing what it was supposed to be doing: giving me an endorphin kick, a reason to laugh about myself and got some blood flowing in my legs after they were dead from leg day.😜 Unfortunately I messed up the order of the videos: 4 goes before 3🤗 .Sometimes all you gotta do is to NOT take things TOO seriously and have a little fun. 🎉💃 . .Hopefully you are at least laughing at me now because then you are laughing and this is great😉🤗 . . .What can you do today to get some positive vibes flowing?😊 . . .

Day 2 in Furlough and I’m missing my routine so much. I used to EASILY wake up at 5.30am each morning, get my ass to the gym, smash out a workout and then be at work for 8am. Now? I’m waking up at around 8am (which I’m not complaining about - loving this extra sleep I’m getting ) but the time it takes me to actually get out of bed is getting later and later. I didn’t manage to get on my run until 9am today, which may seem early for some but seeing as I was lying in bed for an hour I don’t feel like I was being very productive🤦🏻‍♀️ I’ve forced myself on my run, forced myself to do my workout and now I can happily lie in my bed all day in my pjs with the knowledge that I have at least achieved something positive today. Today I am resting and resetting my body, hoping for a better mindset tomorrow✨ What are you doing with your day today??
