If anyone remembers doing the 22 press-ups challenges for 22 days in 2016 I’m gonna start doing this again because if I don’t think of things to do in isolation I’ll get seriously bored. For each day I’ll nominate somebody different, you don’t have to do press-ups you can do anything else like squats etc for 22 days but also nominating others to do so each day. . So for me it's 22 press ups every day for 22 days....maybe some days I’ll do squats 😂 I shall nominate @g_y_m__m_a_f_i_a to go for it. Everyday you nominate a different person. So apparently in quarantine, Sunday is leg day 🙃 I got improvising with some plates last night, who said straps don’t have more than one use?! 🤷🏼‍♀️ Might have not the usual weight, but I’ve got reps and time under tension! 100 reps on each exercise, 25 x 4, keeping the tension on and that burn was REAL! 😑😰🤢 💩 quality video but I filmed each exercise if you need some inspiration! Top tip - if your resistance bands ain’t good enough, tie 3 of them together 🤮💪🏼 1. Bulgarian split squats 2. Glute bridge - superset with - banded adductor 3. Banded sumo squat 4. PORRIDGE ALLE FRAGOLE 🍓 . Buongiorno a tutti!! 🤗 Iniziamo la giornata e la settimana con un bel porridge caldo e cremoso realizzato appositamente per #uningredienteincomune di questa settimana 🤩 . L’ingrediente della settimana è il LATTE 🥛 e nella mia colazione di questa mattina ho utilizzato LATTE DI RISO 🍚 biologico per preparare il mio PORRIDGE ALLE FRAGOLE 🍓 . Per prepararlo ho cotto 35gr di FIOCCHI D’AVENA 🌾 in un pentolino con LATTE DI RISO 🍚 q.b. e qualche FRAGOLA 🍓 tagliata a pezzettini. Ho continuato a mescolare con un cucchiaio e ad aggiungere un po’ di latte fino a che non ha raggiunto la consistenza giusta 😋 . Completa la colazione uno strato sottostante di YOGURT GRECO 0% 🍦, qualche altra fragola 🍓 per decorare ed una barrettina KINDER CIOCCOLATO 🍫 che abbinata alle fragole è la morte sua 😆 . So as week 1 of isolation has come to an end, this is my current shape this morning, no gym pump, flat from no food, I’ve snacked on stuff more than I ever have, home workouts and generally just sat about with the odd walk.... it would be nice to hold this shape and condition so now week 1 is out the way I best get my head into it more. I miss all heavy lifting and everyone knows I like my deadlifting. These are shit times for everyone, but we are all in the same boat. Today was my first at-home leg workout and it was really satisfying! This was a killer workout, that can be done also with minimal equipment or just body weight! ✨MY TOP TIPS FOR MAINTAINING PROGRESS AT HOME✨ 😇1. The most important thing to remember is that you will NOT lose progress overnight, or even over a few weeks. You spent months/years progressing, it won’t disappear in a few weeks. Our bodies are able to adapt a lot more than we may think, don’t underestimate that! It may not be a walk in the park when we get back into the gym, but it won’t take forever to get back to where we were. - 😇2. Do what you ENJOY! Isolation has a lot of us feeling out of wack or lacking motivation. If you don’t feel like doing your normal style of workouts, but you would rather go for a walk outside, a run, or a do a cardio workout - then that’s what you should do! Doing what you enjoy will make it that much easier to stay active. Consider taking this time to try a new style of training or master a new skill. - 😇3. When it comes to resistance training, there are a few methods that may make your workouts more effective. #1 is utilizing TUT (time under tension ). Slow down your reps, use tempo reps, pause reps, etc. Keep it slow & focus on mind-muscle connection. Also unilateral (single leg/arm ) movements are your friend! You don’t need traditional weights to get a good workout. Use water jugs, detergent bottles, etc. Any heavier household items can be just as effective. - 😇4. Keep your nutrition on point! That is one of the few things that we can control during this time. I’m not saying don’t enjoy treats, but don’t go crazy even though it may be tempting. Focus on what you CAN control, not what you can’t. - 😇5. REST REST REST! If you’re like me, having all of the time in the world makes you wanna workout constantly. But rest & recovery is just as important for building/maintaining muscle as training is. So take days off & make sure you’re getting enough SLEEP 💤

TikTok made me do it 😂. The original recipe calls for real sugar so I HAD TO try to with a sugar substitute and IT WORKEDDDD! Is it that special? Not really, but it’s super pretty. But would I make it again? Yup. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Wtf is this you ask? Whipped coffee! ⁣ Ingredients: ⁣ 2Tbsp instant coffee ⁣ 2Tbsp HOT water ⁣ 2Tbsp sugar or other granular sugar substitute (I used monkfruit )⁣ Almond milk⁣ Flavoring (optional )⁣ ⁣ Directions:⁣ Combine the instant coffee, hot water and sugar/sugar substitute and wisk wisk wisk wisk wisk (probably about 4ish minutes ).
