Amber is the recipe developer behind the Fresh Start meals you devour night after night! 🍽💚Using her skills learnt as a sous chef at Auckland restaurant The Engine Room 👩‍🍳 as well as her love of NZ produce 🍋🥦🥕Amber's recipes strike the perfect balance between healthy and delicious.⁠ ⁠ 🚤 Weekends - Before lockdown you would catch me in the boat up at Leigh fishing. I love being out on the water totally immersed in nature, it’s so peaceful and we always have a chiller bag full of delicious snacks. It removes you from technology as well which is ALWAYS a positive.⁠ ⁠ 🍯 Eating - PORRIDGE! I’m so excited about the cooling weather as it means porridge for breakfast. My favourite Is with poached rhubarb, a drizzle of maple syrup and a sprinkle of toasted almonds. I poach my rhubarb in the weekend and jar it up so I have a stash to use throughout the week.⁠ ⁠ 🥜 Drinking - Blueberry, peanut butter and almond milk smoothies with a bit of protein powder – sounds weird but it just works.⁠ ⁠ 💪 Workout - I LOVE pump at Les Mills. I have found it's making me stronger in particular my shoulders which is helping to battle the pain I get from leaning over a kitchen bench and desk!
