2012 vs. 2018 . . . On the left, I am running my very first 5k because Julio had to work and could not make it to a race he had signed up for! 😂 I was not thrilled. I didn't like running and I walked/ran the race. I was passed multiple times by the same speed-walking senior ladies because I kept trying to run ahead of them and then I would get too tired and have to walk. 🤦🏽‍♀️ I had been working out in our living room in Boston doing Insanity, but I ate like crap! . . . A Typical Day: - 3-4 cups of coffee first thing in the morning - 2-4 Eggo waffles with 99cent "butter flavored" syrup & lots of butter - a large plate of nachos made with tons of cheese, Herdez canned salsa and Cholula - same as above for dinner - a large bowl of ice cream - 2-3 craft beers - snacks were often yogurt, Chex Mix &/or Hot Cheetos drenched in hot sauce . . . At this point in my life, I thought if I worked out, I could eat anything I wanted, so that was the main reason I exercised at all. I had also just come off 9 months of Accutane, one of the most toxic drugs on the market. I was using toxic pharmaceuticals daily on the inside and outside of my body. I didn't go outside much because the sun made my skin burn and sting like no other. I was also struggling with anxiety and insomnia, having multiple attacks a week. . . . On the right, I had been raw vegan for a year, and continued high raw vegan/ whole food plant based for the following year. I got in the sun daily because it made me feel amazing. I trained for the half for about 6 months while also teaching cycling and fitness classes at a local gym. It was my very first half marathon and I felt powerful and ready. It was such an exciting day! . . . Growth is possible. No matter where you are, what you're up against, how much you're struggling, growth is always possible. Ну что, как то так получилось , что в последние дни моя выпечка состоит только из творога🙈🤷‍♀️. Не знаю почему так? Прорвало наверное на творог😆😆👩🏼‍🍳👩🏼‍🍳 Мне кажется это очень вкусные десерты, нежные, мягкие. Вообщем говоря ,делюсь рецептом с маминой тетрадки🙏🏻🙏🏻❤️ . ‼️Творожный пирог с присыпкой ‼️‼️ . Используем форму диаметр 18-20см. Ингредиенты: Присыпка............................... 100 гр. сл.масло 50 гр. сахар 220 гр. муки ( высший сорт ) Начинка............................... 3 пачки творога 9% ( по 180 гр. пачка-3 шт ). 3 больших или 4 маленьких яйца 120 гр. сахарного песка 1 пачка ванильного сахара ( 10 гр ) Четверть чайной ложки соли Четверть чайной ложки соды Приготовление....................... Масло предварительно заморозить а затем натереть на тёрке в просеянную муку, добавить сахар и перетереть все в крошку. Дно разьемной формы застелаем пергаментом, бока смазываем сливочным маслом и начинаем формировать крошку. 1/3 часть отложить , а из остального делаем дно и бортики пирога. Борта сильно высокими не делаем. Когда все сформируем , убираем форму в холодильник и занимаемся начинкой! Творог пробить блендером, можно перетереть через сито, а можно как я взбить венчиком в миксере. Яйца с сахаром взбиваем отдельно до однородности, до пены НЕ надо! Добавляем творог, соль, соду и перемешиваем. Достаём форму с холодильника и выливаем начинку. Верх засыпаем равномерно оставшейся крошкой. Если у вас борта получились выше пирога, то ни чего страшного. Просто аккуратно лопаткой снимите лишнее на пирог и разровняйте!!👌🏻 Ставим в разогретую до 180 град. духовку, минут на 45. Далее охлаждаем, затем на пару часов в холодильник. What’s harder... lean bulking or cutting? 🤔 In my opinion, and for me personally... bulking has always been the hardest. Sometimes it’s very difficult to consume your calories in this busy world because you have to remember to EAT — and to eat ENOUGH for your goal. If you aren’t consistent with your calories (even when you’re having amazing gym sessions ), you will just most likely remain at maintenance weight with relatively the same amount of muscle 😓 When you’re trying to put on mass, for a lot of us, sometimes 3 round meals a day doesn’t really cut it (depends on person ). It may in the beginner or intermediate stage, but once you gain more muscle and your metabolism increases... you’re going to need more calories than you used to in order to put on even more substantial muscle mass. Having a “lean” bulk approach makes eating more taxing and time consuming (in my opinion ), but it is more ideal for your results since you will put on more lean muscle and less fat compared to a “dirty” bulk. Cutting for me has never been too extreme since I’ve always been relatively lean. Adding more cardio and cleaning up my diet a little has always seemed to be more convenient than trying to bulk. Less thought had to go into eating, for me at least. Of course if I was going to compete for a bodybuilding show, I’m sure my views would differ 😂 but what’re your guys’ thoughts?
